While these amenities aren’t currently listed in our property description, I completely understand how they could have added an extra layer of comfort during cooler evenings and will take your feedback on board. Hi Linda, thanks for leaving us your review, we're so glad you appreciated our quiet location on the edge of Wooditjup National Park but with the convenience of being so close to town. I'm genuinely sorry to see the fairly average scores in a few areas, especially as there was no response to our communication or mention of any issues during your stay. Hi Shay, thank you for taking the time to leave us such a great review, we're glad to hear you loved our location and facilities at the chalet. Thank you for your feedback with regards to the welcome provisions. At the time of booking, we do advise guests that we are very happy to provide some basic provisions to kickstart the first day, which include a variety of teas, coffee pods, long life milk, jams and spreads, along with pantry staples such as oil, herbs and spices. However guests are advised that if they wish to prepare their own meals, that they bring their own fresh provisions, or purchase from one of the numerous shops and fresh food markets only a few minutes from the chalet. As we're locals to the area we're more than happy to advise and make recommendations for shops, bars and restaurants! We hope you'll return one day to explore more of the region, and once again thank you for staying with us. Glen

Thank you so much for your feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed the villa’s natural setting and the peaceful atmosphere on the verandah—being as close as we are to the Margaret River there’s no shortage of wildlife! We appreciate your note about the location. We aimed to create a peaceful retreat close to nature, so we’re about a 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive from the centre of town. We hope the nearby forest and privacy made up for the extra distance. As for the washing machine, we do show in the listing that we don’t have one on-site (due to space limitations) but we’re currently looking at ways to accomodate a washing machine in the future. Thank you for taking the time to review us Larraine. We take a great deal of pride in our attention to the small things and were surprised by a few of the items mentioned above. After you checked out we reviewed your list, I can confirm there was definitely black tea, green tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the pantry, along with all the usual pantry staples such as cooking oil, salt, pepper and a range of cooking spices. Regular and almond milk was also provided in the fridge, along with a selection of jams, honey and other spreads. Kitchen towels and paper towels were provided and these were located under the kitchen sink. Thank you for bringing to our attention the lack of foil and glad wrap, these are usually provided and it appears they were missing, and this has now been rectified. Your suggestion of a second hair dryer is good one, so we've bought an extra one for the second bathroom. We continually seek to improve our guests' experience, and hope you'll return for another visit one day. Glen

Thank you for your very kind rating of our property Rossukon. We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the location and comfort we have to offer. We understand your disappointment in not being able to use the indoor fireplace, unfortunately we had to make a hard decision to disconnect the old gas fireplace and replace with reverse cycle cooling/heating instead, which is more in line with our energy efficiency and sustainability goals.
