Loved walking the farm with Rod, the owner. Was a real pleasure as we had discussions about the cattle herd, Red breasted Robins, island lighthouse in the distance, neighbors, other animals on the farm. Just loved it. Very dark at night with fantastic dark sky stars.

We loved the beautiful cottage. It had everything we needed for a lovely farm stay. We were lucky enough to have Rod take us to meet their beautiful cows. My daughter absolutely loved it. The view from the farm is stunning and the owners were so helpful and quick to respond.

Such an amazing place! Excellent communication all along from reservation to during our stay. We had the best night's sleep - really comfortable bed and completely silent at night. The stars in the night sky were amazing, we spent ages stargazing before going to bed. The other stars are the cows! Huge thanks to Rod who gave us a great tour and let us get right up close and brush the cows, they were amazing, such lovely animals. All the while the hens pecking around us too, and the friendliest dog tagging along as well. Couldn't have asked for more and we were sad to leave. If we were coming again I'd stay two nights for sure, especially when you buy a ticket for Port Arthur Historic site and it can be used over two days, because it's just a few minutes down the road. Highly recommended!

Rod and Kim had the cabin ready to settle in straight away, perfect location very close to Port Arthur. Their recommendation for restaurants was great. The Fox and Hound is very close with good value, huge meals. The walk around the farm with Rod was awesome, especially meeting the cows. Dozer is a sweet dog who loves a pat.

The stay at the Ruby’s cottage pyt pur trip of Tasmania into a totally new level. Magnificent surroundings, great facilities, warm welcome. Rhos was just a perfect stay. We appreciated the care pf the hosts. The games and toys available for our kids make their stay also more joyful. The meeting of the caws was something exceptional. We really enjoyed also the late evening around the fire pit. A truly exceptional play to stop on Tasman peninsula.

A fun experience staying in a farm house. Rod brought us to his farm and we had a lovely time combing the highland cows which are friendly and adorable. The house is well equipped with everything we need and huge enough for a comfortable stay. There is only one air conditioner in the living room that works extremely hard to keep the whole house warm for us in the winter night.

Meeting the cows and talking to the host was the highlight of the stay! The location is great after going to the Port Arthur historic site, although to access it is a quite steep dirt road so make sure you have a car that can handle it. Having breakfast provided was so helpful before we drove to our next location!

Excellent location, offering peace & quiet stay. Well furnished farm house especially with the kitchen. We had fun interacting with the hosts & the many other 2 & 4 legged residents in the farm!
