I just felt a little isolated I guess and the swimmer is good but if your neighbours are in it it feels a little awkward. I guess that’s my problem.

It was good because you could do your own meals, and you could park your car nearby but it’s away from the hotel and so it seemed too far to go and use the hotel amenities like the restaurant.

Location was far from town so transfers became expensive at $60 round trip per family. Only 1 restaurant which also serviced the pool bar. The food served was unfortunately cold so we didn’t order again. The staff did promptly offer a refund and customer service was great. The apartment really wasn’t luxury. The floor felt like it needed a good scrub. It had a sticky/greasy feel under foot.

Communication from owner/property manager was tricky and not very efficient. There were times at the beginning of our stay and the end of our stay where we weren’t sure what to do with our luggage prior to check in and after check out. There also wasn’t enough toiletries, tea bags etc for us staying for the week.

The property was lovely, clean, spacious and comfortable. A really nice view of the pool and garden areas.

The TV in the room was hard to see as it did not swivel to accomodate seating positions. Suggest installing it on a swivel arm 👍

Stayed in 166. Spa didn’t work - was the whole reason we booked the room. It was also fairly dirty, curtains had dead bugs in them and were mouldy. The tech in the apartment needs to be updated also such as the tv.

The lack of car parks at the resort, you need a car because the resort is 3 kilometres from Port Douglas main street.

The apartment is huge with lots of little extras like pod coffee, shampoos/conditioners, washing machine & dryer. The swim-out pool was amazing so convenient. You have the luxury of a 5 star hotel with the restaurant & bars at a fair price.

I do think that toilet rolls are a necessity and should be supplied continuously. One or two supply and then having to buy them, when you simply can’t go without is a basic human right. Shampoo, soap etc should be supplied once and then the customer replenish definitely, but toilet rolls I think are completely different. Also, I really don’t think the floor has been mopped/cleaned in quite awhile. It was really quite filthy to be honest.

The swim out pool apartment was so convenient for us as a family. The kids loved it! It was a very comfortable stay. We were provided with enough linen, as well as dishwasher pods, washing machine liquid etc. The apartment was spacious and came with everything we needed for our stay. Bathrooms were clean.

Apartment slightly tired and in need in a deep clean, have relayed this to owner and apparently apartment is about to have a bit of a spruce up so that's great - will def go back!

Apartment 129 is situated in a quiet corner of the resort yet close to the main facilities. The swim out pool was loved by our three young kids, and it being in a shallower area made it that much better.

Overall amazing, but the property is showing signs of old age. Perhaps fix up some old Cabinetry and whip out the gernie. Plants some trees in some areas etc.

The fridge was a little small in our opinion for the size of the apartment but we made it work. Also the clothes dryer wasn’t working but it was replaced within 2 days of us notifying the staff so we were very impressed about that.

We were a family of 5 and the property was a good size for us. It was beautifully furnished and we really enjoyed the 5 night stay!

Maybe some mats to help with wet feet coming straight into pool into the apartment- got very wet with little feet.

Fantastic hotel for our family holiday with the pool just outside our apartment. Kids loved it and we were able to relax. Pool outside apartment is not too deep (0.6m) which is great for younger kids and connects through to the larger, deeper pool. Highly recommend and keen to return next year escape winter!

This studio has a small 'kitchen space' with crockery, cutlery, toaster, microwave but no sink. Unfortunately, you will need to wash any dirty dishes in the bathroom sink and refill drinking bottles in bathroom. Consider bringing spring water or refilling water at the pool bar.

Amazing location, with small balcony overlooking main pool and pool bar. Short walk to pool entrance with plenty of sun lounges and food and drinks available at pool bar. Close also to walkway to beach. Studio was clean, huge bathroom with spa bath, plenty of towels, coffee machine with pods supplied, some drawers and hanging space with hangers for clothing.
