The main sitting area was upstairs, and we barely used it. It would've been nice to have a more comfortable area downstairs instead where the family could gather with a cuppa or a glass of wine after dinner. But it wasn't a big deal!

We loved that the owners were friendly, the place was spotless, and had great facilities. We also loved the location - so close to all the restaurants, playgrounds, and supermarkets. The owners also left us a bottle of bubbles and some snacks, which was very warm and welcoming!

The thoughtful touches, they have really thought about the needs of anyone planning to stay in the Mornington Peninsula area. Thankful for the blender in the kitchen to use up the strawberries we picked!

The place had everything we could possibly need for a short stay. It was located on a quiet street and very close to the shops and restaurants. It was very clean, neat, and tidy. If we visit the peninsula again, we would definitely stay at Shelly's Place. Although we never met our hosts, Will and Julie, they were very welcoming in their email communications and provided detailed information to ensure we had a pleasant stay at the property.

Nothing - everything was great!

We had a wonderful stay!! The hosts had great communication throughout and they have created a cosy home away from home at Shelly's Place. There are thoughtful touches everywhere and comfy beds and pillows. The master and ensuite is downstairs and the second bedroom is upstairs. Our daughter loved the sofa bed in the upstairs loungeroom. It is located in a suburban street so it's quiet at night. At the end of the road is McDonalds and KFC and there are numerous places to eat. Woolworths a few minutes drive. A lovely 4 night stay to explore the Mornington Peninsula - thanks for a great stay!

This was an exceptional property. The hosts had thought of everything that you possibly need or want including a lovely and very thoughtful welcome snack basket, which included some breakfast items. There were even sauces and oils for cooking! We could not fault anything at the house.

The hosts were wonderful and welcoming and communicated easily with us. The house was well equipped and very relaxing. We enjoyed using our bikes on the beach paths and in the nearby mountain bike trails. Supermarkets were extremely convenient.

The neighbours tree (which is not the owners fault). It continuously drops its flower buds and covers the whole decking area, that we had to sweep up each morning & afternoon, and because of this you couldn’t eat outside as the flowers would drop on the food and would drop on bbq whilst cooking.
