How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewThe resort itself is spectacular, with an amazing pool. The apartment was spacious and well presented.
The apartment was nice, but the kitchen amenities were a little lacking meaning that even cooking some shake and make pancakes for breakfast was a bit of a challenge. Additionally, some of the cleaning/set up could have been a little more attentive - large hair ball left in the shower plug hole and no hand soap in the dispenser (we were able to refill ourselves). There were also no dishwasher tablets/powder. Just little things that, particularly for the price, you would think would be taken care of a bit better. Having 4 groups of friends (all with 2 adults and 2 kids) staying at the resort we got to compare thoroughly, and, unfortunately, our apartment fell a little short compared to others, with the other privately booked (rather than resort owned) apartment even supplying a nice welcome basket, including beer and snacks!

Verified reviewWe stayed for 5 nights and it was absolutely fabulous. The apartment was comfortable, and we loved that you could swim out from the apartment. The attention to detail by the owner was superb. We were given fresh bottles of milk, water and chocolates as well as other condiments that made our stay great. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The resort itself was awesome with a beautiful pool and you can walk along the beach. Check in was super easy and communication from the owner was excellent. Couldn’t fault our stay!
There was nothing we didn’t like.

Verified reviewThe apartment feels fresh and newly furnished. The outdoor alfresco area that has direct access to the lagoon pool has an extremely comfortable lounge with its own bbq. The room was very well equipped with basic pantry staples to get you started. Felt like home away from home. The resort itself is stunning with beach access a short walk away - we will definitely be returning.

Lack of privacy outside due to lots of people and kids swimming past making noise and throwing stones in pool. Also issues with other people using our Garage even when the door was down, which made it difficult to find a car spot which was close.
Regarding the noise & kids in the pool comments, you booked through school holidays and given our beautiful pool and lagoon, it is very popular for families, particularly through school holidays.

No control over parking - someone parked a trailer and left it so the car was parked elsewhere. The body corporate were then unhappy when we needed to park it poorly for loading. Dishwasher didn't work no matter what we tried. A lot of wear and tear on the fittings - place needs an update or remodel to keep up to date. .
Hi Kelly, we found the dishwasher not working after your stay, and have since replaced it with a brand new dishwasher. As I test it after every stay, I can confirm it was working prior to your arrival. The TV is brand new, the cabinetry in bathroom is brand new, new couches in the living area, new outside furnishings and recovered outside seating, new blinds in the main room, new clothes dryer. We have also arranged a repaint of the feature aqua blue wall in the main living area and bedroom 2. We have replaced and refurbished a lot prior to your stay. Sorry, we are not able to be the car parking police.

Verified reviewWe loved the lagoon access and comfort if our room. The beds were super comfy and we had all amenities available to us. Being a young family, it was great to have a washing machine and kitchen.
The spa was closed for most of our stay which was a little frustrating on the cooler days. The pool bar closed at 5.30pm each day. Would have been great to have a few drinks by the pool of a night.

I thought this must have happened during your stay because it was not like this previously? Glad you enjoyed the pool. As the listing describes, this is a privately owned and managed apartment. We did not receive any other queries or messages from you throughout your stay, other than calls about how to check in, having not received the messages sent through the booking.com system, the day prior to arrival. Did you have an issue with Pullman staff, given your lower rating?
