The breakfast could have been better considering the high price of staying there.

The first night we stayed there the meal was disappointing, considering the price of our stay. However, the second night the food was excellent. The $6 million spent on upgrading was money well spent as the bathrooms were modern. The whole place looked very stylish.

Beautiful and stunning property in a peaceful location close to everything . Yummy breakfast and service and amenities. The local kangaroos come out to say hello drawn and dust. Amazing experience.

The stairs in the suite which we had to navigate in the dark during the night to go to the bathroom. The builder should have installed underfloor heating in the freezing cold bathroom. Or supply larger floor mats in the bathroom . Tiny bathrobes that did not fit my husband.

Only the weather! ...it rained for some of the weekend. I can't think of anything else that I didn't like.

The personalised service from the moment we arrived, staff going above and beyond what would normally be expected. The room was large and beautiful, the food delicious and the setting idyllic. We felt like it was almost our own private resort.

They used to have a Chef that did Bask food and it was sublime, he is no longer there 😞 The restaurant staff weren’t trained well either.

We have been three times. We thought the tariff was all inclusive only to be charged on leaving for small items from the mini bar. Also although one of our party consumed no alcohol we were charged for freshly squeezed orange juice. Petty.

Probably just the nature of regional stays but there were small bugs that would sometimes get in but repellent is provided.

I really loved the service from all the staff who were super friendly. The property and rooms were styled really well and felt very luxurious.

The amount of flies diving down for our delicious lunch. Could not cut some hard cheeses, knife wouldn’t cut, very brick like!!

Loved the feeling of home and not pressured to do anything. Quietness and lack of or meeting other guests made it more relaxing. Easy walking around premises, temperature just right. Meal times were not rushed and food wonderful staff were always obliging and happy.

Beautiful spot very private and peaceful, Food was fantastic, staff couldn’t be more helpful, Had great couples massage in the room too. Pool was gorgeous and we rode bikes you could borrow too. Will definitely return.

1. Food was by far the biggest disappointment of the trip. The menu is limited and elements of dishes are reused across multiple dishes in the breakfast and dinner menu - making all the meals feel samey. As it was over Christmas we didn’t have options to eat elsewhere so were very bored of the food by the end of our stay 2. The standard of cooking was average at best (every single potato based element during our stay was completely undercooked) and many of the dishes were too oily or had too much butter 3. Christmas dinner was ok overall - a lot of food was provided. But again, many of the main menu dishes were reused so we had eaten the same thing the night before - which didn’t make the meal feel very special 4. We had the option to choose a Christmas hamper for dinner. At a $140 price point. So we were quite shocked when we recieved fridge cold food Leftovers from the Christmas dinner in takeaway containers on a steel kitchen tray- we could have got this for free if we asked them to pack up the Christmas dinner we didn’t eat. We saw other guests do this - when mentioned at check out we were not offered any form of compensation

The room and shared areas were beautiful with a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. The team were all lovely.

The rom we had (number 2) was very claustrophobic and probably the least nice room of them all. Not much by way of facilities and it was very expenisve. No view from the room.

we were disappointed and probably won't go again. We had been many times before years ago and it was much better then. It was very expensive for what it was. The breakfast was ordinary for a fancy hhotel. Dinner was good
