Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

No wood for the brazier.
An excellent set up. The cottage is hard to fault. Provision of amenities is excellent. The place was perfect for our needs.

Only 1 air conditioner, took a bit to cool the house but it eventually cooled, there were plenty of ceiling fans throughout the house to take the edge off though, wasn’t a big deal
The place was bigger than expected, beds were clean and comfortable. Plates, glasses, cutlery and cooking utensils in the kitchen were all clean and ready to go. Nice quiet street, no drama with neighbours or people snooping around, highly recommend this property

The house is wonderful and very comfortable. There are 4 bedrooms . There are 2 separate lounge areas with a TV in each so that it would be ideal for 2 families to stay. The kitchen has everything you need and there are 2 verandahs to lounge in outside. The airconditioner is in the lounge room and is efficient in cooling the large lounge , dining and kitchen area well. The house is airy and light. Shops are nearby.

That we didn’t stay for long enough!
My family and I absolutely loved this place. It was so homely the beds were very comfortable. We were able to relax and enjoy This tastefully decorated home. The attention to detail in the finishing touches of this beautiful home was well appreciated . They went way and above our expectations with the thoughtfulness of having everything there for us to make our stay and comfortable as possible

That it advised that it sleeps 6 when it sleeps 8 So other family members could have stayed with us instead of having to stay else where
It was clean, modern, well looked after and had everything that we needed plus close to town plus the hint of Christmas was unexpected

Because my husband is very tall we would love a king bed. Otherwise everything was wonderful.
Very comfortable, quiet leafy street, perfect location close to town, cosy and homely, spacious and clean. Prompt response to the small issues we did have.

Gas bottle unfortunately empty when we arrive, but owner was very quick to resolve

Location of this house is fantastic you are close to town. A very quiet area Surrounded by beautiful trees. The outside enclosed decking is amazing to have a coffee and listen to the kookaburras. The kitchen is huge and well laid out with all the amenities that one needs. The couches are super comfortable as well as the beds. This house is very relaxing and the decor is beautiful. When visiting Nowra this house would be the only place i would stay at. Such a wonderful experience thank you once again.

A dirty bbq More towels would have been helpful Face cloths ! A heated towel rail More kitchen tongs for serving food
There was no breakfast , we brought our own food . Wanted to have bbq breakfast but the bbq had not been cleaned before we checked in . So we cooked in the kitchen with our family

The neighbour is doing some work in their garden, loud machine noise early morning around 7 am.
Well-maintained house. Cosy and clean. A bit too many decorations around the house not practical but looks lovely.
