Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaI loved it all- it is eco friendly so have to watch water and lights usage and I had issues with connectivity as I’m not with Telstra . Internet worked well - honestly minute because it’s a haven
Greeted by the hosts with the best home made baked bread and beans and a lovely plate . Little touches of beauty and surrounded by trees and a fabulous fireplace and fire pit to watch the sunrise or set . Peaceful!

AustraliaNothing not to love.
Hosts would normally meet guests but they left easy instructions for us. No issues whatsoever. Loved the location - magic place to stay away from the city and yet only 75kms from Brisbane. We really enjoyed the private fire pit area during the day - soaking up the sun and taking in the view. Didn’t use in the evenings this time but it would be great. Loved the fireplace inside. What a treat. Loved the studio - very gorgeous and stylish yet eco plus and comfortable. Bed was sensational. Loved the welcome breakfast platter. Wow. Fresh baked bread and amazing slow cooked beans, avocado etc. Loved the bird sound - beautiful. Loved the views from the top fire pit especially. Wow. Loved the very considerate hosts and appreciated a chance to share their gorgeous studio.

A stunningly peaceful location tucked away in hinterland paradise. Welcomed by birdsong, especially bellbirds. Fabulous homemade bread on arrival and some wonderful goodies in the fridge to snack on for breakfast. The accommodation is beautifully appointed, snug and private, and surrounded by gorgeous grounds. An afternoon break to sit at the lookout and watch the day close on the Glasshouse Mountains was a real highlight. The hosts could not have been more welcoming or thoughtful.

AustraliaNothing, there is nothing I didn't like.
This was a wonderful place to get away. I stayed here to spend a few days working on my business alone and it was a perfect place to be. I was able to have time away to relax and spend time looking at the view but also a great environment to get a lot of work done. The accomodation was comfortable and had everything you need to have a comfortable time away. The hosts were lovely and met me when I arrived and were very proud to quickly show me the amazing view and take me through everything I needed to know. I can highly recommend this place for a time to get away alone or with a partner.

AustraliaIt wasn’t advertised that the AC could only be used for less than an hour or the power would cut out. The unit shouldn’t be advertised as having AC if you cannot use it. I wouldn’t have booked here if I had known. The summer heat was a killer for someone who doesn’t do well with the heat (if this isn’t a problem for you there isn’t really anything wrong with this accommodation)
The hosts and location were perfect, the breakfast platter was amazing and the fresh bread was fantastic. The little touches really made our holiday. The marshmallows, the fire etc.

New ZealandNothing!
It was like walking into home away from home. Spacious, clean, everything you needed for a few peaceful days away. First off the greeting we received from the hosts Chris and Donna was awesome - they gave us a full run down including some hints and tips of things to do, including a great walk up the hill on their property. Obi Obi Creek is a 20 minute drive (into Maleny) where we saw Platypus! Come and stay at Studio Mimburi for a soul restoring trip amongst nature.

AustraliaI thought there may have been a view from the studio so that was a little disappointing. And although there were some blinds on the windows, I think all of them should be fitted with blinds for privacy, including the glass sliding door.
Hosts were lovely and surprised us with a breakfast "plate" and home cooked bread on arrival. The studio was immaculate with high class furniture that was modern and comfortable. Incredibly clean and everything was supplied, nothing was forgotten!

AustraliaHard to find fault!
Amazing views of the Glass House Mtns. Wonderful touches like blankets, torches, extendable marshmallow forks, pine cones and ample cut wood, freshly baked bread with welcome breakfast. Extremely comfortable, tastefully decorated with very friendly and hospitable hosts who are determined you have privacy and a tranquil bush/mountain escape from the city. Great to be off the grid. Bit cold for the spa on my visit but i can imagine it would be fabulous gazing out on the spectacular views. On my walks I saw kookaburras and many other birds, kangaroos and 3 wild deer. Trails easy enough to follow.

AustraliaWe did run out of electricity overnight and the fire pits are up or down steep hills - a bit of an issue for anyone with mobility issues.
The studio is spacious and comfortable with attention to lots of details. The breakfast provisions were very nice and much appreciated. The views were very good and the property is quiet and features lots of birds and other wildlife.
