The location is beautiful with a great view of the lake and the house is perfect for a quiet, cozy stay. Brad was great with communicating and even let us check in a little early! The house has lots of heaters and blankets for cold nights and is in a great location for visiting the national park. Bonus - getting to meet Charlie, Brad’s very sweet and adorable dog! Would definitely stay again!

Amazing property so peaceful had house to ourselves when it goes dark you can see baby kangaroos and we think we're tasmanian devils came right up by the house we were right by the river best place in tasmania even had a call from Brad the owner yo see if we could find it ok was down a dirt track but house was like home from home even had Netflix on tv to watch nice clean beds and towels sheets were so fresh and clean would highly recommend thanx Brad.

Lovely place right by the river, Brad (and Charlie 🐶) was super friendly and welcoming host. Kayaks and paddle boards available for use on the river as well which was an unexpected bonus. Place was very clean and tidy. Had everything you need for a getaway. Perfect stopover for me on my way west. Only thing to note is the 5km on the gravel/dirt road and the driveway coming into the place is a bit bumpy/hard on little cars.

Set on a farm with an amazing lake - kayaking at sunrise was spectacular- as was the night time stars. An eclectic space - bunks upstairs living room, kitchen and facilities downstairs. Inc great TV and Netflix. Peacocks and Turkeys walking the nearby properties added a really different element.

The adjacent building was very messy . The upstairs bed facility didn’t cater for a couple to share a bed needs at least a queen size bed for comfort and relaxation

Beautiful location overlooking a lake, very quiet, lots of space (though I was by myself so I didnt need it all). Friendly host with an even friendlier dog.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Beautiful spot any nature lover would enjoy. Facilities to cater for yourself. Owner was friendly and accommodating but also respected our privacy. Recommend for those who want a place a bit out the city. Bed was comfy. House was quirky and had character. Would recommend and stay again.

Loved the bunk cabin, we booked very last minute and Brad was super accommodating and provided me all the usual nessisary house & access details very quickly. The location was awesome, down the road from Repulse dam if your up for a bit of 4x4 driving otherwise meadowbank lake is also beautiful for a picnic, park for kids, fishing, boating etc. What I loved most about this place was the View, lake front, some cute little turkeys running around out in the field and pet friendly it was awesome! For the price I'd 100% recommend tassie locals and tourists to stay and night or 2 and soak up this fun patch of land!!

What a splendid location and accommodation in general! This property way exceeded my expectations in how cosy and comfortable it was. It is pretty far out in the middle of nowhere and near a beautiful lake which gave us the most splendid sunrise view from the big windows on the upper sleeping floor. The pantry was generously stocked as well, which was very much appreciated. Owner gave us very helpful instructions and was very kind and welcoming :) I would absolutely stay here again. What a wonderful home 🏡

Situated in a beautiful place right on the Cluny Lagoon . Well equipped place for me, on a solo stay, or a large group. Will definitely stay again.

The dining table was small, rustic and hard to clean. The bedrooms are better suited to a group The bathroom was downstairs from the bedroom which is ok if you don’t mind a walk at night. The stairs were well lit. Kitchen was cluttered.

Location is very private, except for hosts house close by The view over the Derwent River is beautiful especially at sunrise The bathroom was clean and modern Lovely and quiet
