Nothing not to like.

The room was comfortable and we had all we needed including an efficient oil heater for the cold winter nights. Our room was perfectly clean with a very comfortable bed ,great bedlinen and quality towels . The water temperature and pressure in the shower was excellent and it had the driest bathroom floor we've ever experienced in accommodation as the shower screen sealed so securely. The picture window was beautiful looking out at the green surroundings as well as the swimming pool. We didn’t use the pool as we travelled in July. The sun streamed into the room in the morning and the birdsongs were wonderful to wake to. The building itself is older but very well maintained. We were thankful for the safe , comfortable and clean place to return to each day after exploring the hinterland.

The location isn't the best, would have preferred it was high in mountains. The accommodation isn't the best and beds weren't cleaned very well. In few rooms there were spiders and webs (I guess its common in country side), but could've been cleaned up before guests arrived.

We were five families. The rooms were individual and had queen-size beds and bunk beds for kids. This was right for all of us. The host was very accommodating, provided us with a fire pit when we requested. The common kitchen was large and helped us in preparing meals for the day. Utensils and amenities were sufficient. Kids loved the fact that there was an electric small car to keep them occupied. Early mornings were the best, with mist all around.

There were wasps nests on the plants outside the cottage and a wasp got inside the moment we arrived. There was also watered down soap in the bathroom. It was basically water, so I had to use body wash to wash my hands. There were some greasy marks on the cupboard doors in the kitchen.

The seclusion of the cottage, and the view. The bed was clean and comfortable, and it was mainly clean throughout.

Couldn't watch Netflix .you get wifi but not internet connection for TV . But who cares ya don't go on holidays to sit and watch TV .

Hidden quite location with running creek . Pool was good. Place was clean bed was comfy.

Amazing location, as close to nature as you’ll get outside of camping. Very well maintained pool and great utilities in shared cooking area.

We missed a table in the room. TV remote not working, noticed too late in the evening and did not wish to disturb the host after 9 pm. Can't comment on the staff/owner as we have not seen anyone during our 2-day stay.

The kitchen could have been better equipped. I.e. frypan without bumps. And olive oil.

It was just a bit further off the main road than I thought but it was a good road with no access issues.

The pool was a great asset in the heat especially as the location was quite remote. The communal kitchen was also a great idea and well equipped. I'd stay again- it was peaceful and the birdsong beautiful. Bed was very comfortable.

The communal cooking/ BBQ area was well set up. However not a single Christmas decoration, just a couple of days after Christmas. not even a strand of tinsel. There were little children staying who might have liked a little festive atmosphere. I wasnt met on arrival but did get response by text when I tried to ring to notify the owner/manager of my arrival. I did meet him when I departed. he was helpful by kindly driving his own car ahead of mine over a flooded culvert to show that it was actually quite shallow and safe.

Beautiful views from cabin and from pool. Could see Mount Warning. Clean, comfortable, cooking facilities and great little verandah to relax on. good air con.

We liked that it had a pool. We liked the view onto Mt Warning and simply just the nature around us. We loved the price. Very affordable.

The only thing I could criticize was the pool, I understand that it is a place in the middle of nature...but still, it was very dirty.

A beautiful place in the middle of nature, absolute silence and peace. A large patio with seating where you can grill, have breakfast...the place exceeded our expectations and was truly relaxing.

Dirty pool, no nofication that the pool was unusable, towel rack and toilet holder hanging off wall, cobwebs, cockroaches in cupboard, very hot in room (no air-conditioning) grass needed mowing. Received message from manager explaining there had been a flood and that the pool was not a easy fix and that I had obviously didn't own a pool! The stairs on the decking of the BBQ area are dangerous and rotting away needing attention before someone gets hurt. Loved the place but feel it needs a lot of TLC and general maintenance.

I know this is not controlled by the motel but there were undisciplined little kids allowed to run around outside before 6.30am constantly screaming as they ran. This was really disappointing as I was expecting quiet solitude & it was lovely up until that point. I always told my children to be considerate of others & I expect that of others. They were staying for multiple days so I feel sorry for other visitors.

The room was so clean & very spacious. The fan cooled the room down well to sleep comfortably. Some cold water in the fridge would have been handy as I didn’t know if the water was good to drink after recent storms. The location was quiet to go to sleep at night.
