Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaI saw a lady going to the men's showers, which is kinda unsettling. Also, the female bathroom was unlocked when my mum went to use it, despite it having a keycode lock. Our room window was set on a brick, keeping it slightly open (maybe it is broken/can't be reopened when closed?). The TV was switched off from the wall for some reason. The lockers in the room don't have any padlocks in them and one doesn't close properly. The (men's) shower could use a towel hanger though.
Cheapest place I could find after a long travel on the GOR. Great for large groups as our room had 3 bunk beds, theoretically can accomodate 12 people. The room has 2 fridges (normal and mini), which is insane (great to keep your stubbies/sodas/water/leftover food which can be heated in the resto kitchen). A tiny bar of soap was provided for a shower (useful for a couple times). Just make sure you have dinner before the shops in 'bool close early or the 24/7 Maccas is 4km away.

AustraliaPerhaps provide more bathmats or a bathmat per person with the towel. The two that were in the shower room were often wet.
Great staff, low cost, you get what you see. No frills but clean and comfortable beds. Towels were provided and the little soap was an unexpected surprise 😊.

AustraliaIts only a small thing but I'd have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom - its nice to have a hot drink first thing in the morning.
I think the place has recently been repainted as it all looked really good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Although its a pub, it wasn't noisy and we weren't kept awake by loud music or noise from the bar. Its right in town, an easy walk to shops and cafes.

AustraliaIt can be noisy with live band - this is written in the blurb, so not unexpected. No kettle/ tea etc in the room. The staircase has narrow stairs. A little ‘tired’ in appearance. Our room had no wardrobe. Others did.
Cheap & cheerful. Comfortable beds. Central. Good that you can get lunch/dinner in the pub 7 days a week. Off street parking.

Hong KongWe booked a twin bed room but when we checkin, the staff charged us a twin bed room fee but provided us a 8 bed dorm and said no other room was available... However, we saw someone stayed in our room (the same as the picture shown when we made the booking). After we fighted for our benefit, the staff provided us a queen bed room instead. The whole experience made us felt a bit uncomfortable.
The hotel is located at the city centre and there is a restaurant and a bar down stairs. The room is quiet. Showers and toilets are clean.

AustraliaThere is no private bathroom. The room is not very big.
The Cally Hotel This hotel actually exceeded my expectations. I thought it was a relatively small motel, but it was quite spacious inside. It just didn't have a separate bathroom, which was a little inconvenient. The price I booked was $75 AUD/Night, which was quite cost-effective.

AustraliaThere's a function room on the ground floor and you can expect loud music until midnight. But it was quiet after that.
The staff was very helpful and polite, as good as it gets. Nice bar and drinks. The room was pretty basic but okay for the price.
