Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ChileWas not expecting the street noise to be so intense. I understand from location it wouldn’t be quiet but maybe some window isolation would be a good improvement.
The bed, facilities and staff were great. Im really thankful to people at front desk.

New ZealandMattresses are a little firm, even for someone who generally prefers that. Be aware Sydney is a city that doesn't really sleep and because you're so central, you will hear everyone out on the town. I'd recommend taking ear plugs.
As far as capsule hotels go, these are pretty good: minimal noise from the other occupants; not too hot (I was there in Winter so that probably helped). Super centrally located & opposite a supermarket which was great. If you're a tourist, it ticks the boxes of having somewhere to sleep so you can spend your time & money actually exploring Sydney.

New ZealandIt could be brighter. The lift is slow, could be due to the old building.
The location is just opposite World Plaza. From the airport, just take the train to the Museum station and walk 400m to the hotel. It’s also very close to the Town Hall station where all the connections are.

South KoreaThe privacy screen is loud and can disturb others (even making an effort to be quiet, the pull screen is still awkward and noisy to use). A curtain would be better, I think. It is pricy for a capsule hotel. I’ve stayed in similar quality capsules in Singapore and Seoul for a third of the price.
It’s well-located, with many restaurants and cafés nearby. The area is super walkable, making this a convenient stay. Staff gave great instructions to find and enter the property (especially for late arrivals). The beds are comfortable and the shared bathrooms were clean.

AustraliaUnfortunately the lift was broken during one of my stays and the reception level is three and majority of capsules are on levels four and five. Impossible for accessibility impaired people. Made check in and check out with baggage very very difficult. Zero flexibility on moving bookings and staff are not lenient at all, very strict on policy and lacking compassion. Kitchen only has toaster, kettle and microwave so not suitable for making any meals.
The capsules are a decent size, private and mattresses are comfortable. Multiple unisex showers and toilets available on each level. Locker size in A and C rooms are very decent. Good allocation of fridges and freezers for supplies.

AustraliaI feel that the toilets need some improvement. They were a bit run down, lighting was very poor for shaving or putting on makeup, and they didn't feel as clean as the rest of the facilities. Also, tea towels in the kitchen would be useful.
The location of the Capsule Hotel is exceptional, as is the value for money. I wouldn't rate the sleeping capsule itself quite as highly as my first visit, but I did spend three comfortable nights there.

AustraliaThere's a weird smell in the corridors. The hand soap in the bathroom smells awful
Pods are super cosy and comfortable. The place was very nice and clean. It was very quiet and peaceful to sleep overnight. It had some great views out the windows. Some very fancy looking stairs and chairs in waiting rooms. Showers have plenty of space and nice water pressure. Nice looking tiles. Overall a very well kept building with nothing that makes it look run down

AustraliaThe pod fan doesn’t work / isn’t efficient. Luckily it isn’t warm this time of year otherwise I would’ve had an unpleasant and uncomfortable experience. You need to bring your own locks (x2) to secure your items while you’re gone.
Excellent location, very convenient, new pod design looks good.
