Absolutely nothing.

Lovely, cosy, atmospheric apartment with stunning yard leading down to the river. Enjoyed sitting by the fire pit with our tea each afternoon. Picnic table and boat ramp . The owners who live in the main house were unobtrusive but friendly when we met them. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short due to illness but the owners are holding our one night for us should we return - very gracious.

The location was idyllic - a peaceful setting, with sweeping lawns rolling gently down to the river. So many thoughtful touches provided by our hosts, who clearly wanted us to enjoy our stay - a welcoming drink, nibbles, breakfast cereal, and even a real milk bottle filled with real milk! Also lots of information about things to see and do in and around Urunga. All of which means we will be recommending The Glade to friends, and hope to visit again ourselves.

The Glades is a delightful accommodation with a beautiful peaceful outlook over the river. Very comfortable bed, clean and charming amenities. Lovely touch of some treats on arrival. Very well equipped mini kitchen.

The Glade is spotlessly clean and provides absolutely everything you could possibly need. The view of the river is beautiful and peaceful, with a firepit and chairs by the river. The bed is comfortable. We highly recommend staying here.

The serenity, sitting near the water watching the sunset. Every detail thought off with wine and nibblies on arrival. Very spacious unit with fully equipped kitchen.

Excellent accomodation in a beautiful location. The hosts have thought of everything to make a stay comfortable and enjoyable. What may seem a small thing, but was very much appreciated by me, was the fact there was a carton of soy milk in the fridge as well as regular milk. It was so nice after a long drive, to be able to sit down and have a coffee. :)

With a big vehicle the access driveway was a little tight. Although it was dark and rainy when we left which didn't help.

The personal touches of the throws and soft furnishings was lovely. The motivational books were a bonus as was the complimentary book, wine and nibbles. The setting is really beautiful. The property feels like a beautiful holiday flat by the river. The location is idyllic and it is a short drive into town for food and beaches (or a nice walk).

The studio apartment was very spacious, comfortable, clean, well equipped, quiet and with a beautiful view of the river. Our hosts had thought of everything and the extras provided were appreciated - ground coffee, cereal, milk, wine and chocolate. Highly recommend a stay here.

We have stayed at similar places up and down the coast over long weekends over the last couple of years and this was the best place we’ve stayed. Really lovely spot and the accommodation is very comfortable, it has everything you could want and was very clean.

As former b&b proprietors ourselves we enjoy meeting our hosts. Fran was a great communicator prior to our arrival and responded quickly to an enquiry from us. We enjoyed chatting to her. The property was spotless and every need had been anticipated. The facilities were excellent and location convenient and peaceful. It was well situated to walk on the delightful Urunga boardwalk and through the beautiful and interesting Urunga Wetland.

Absolutely nothing.. it was perfect!

Beautiful location with amazing views. Our hosts Fran and Rod were incredibly accommodating and friendly. The Glade is beautifully presented with little extra touches above and beyond expectation. A cold beer in the fridge and mini bottle of red to be enjoyed sitting in a shady spot looking out at the Kalang River. What more could you ask for to relax and unwind? Immaculate property with lovely personal touches everywhere and a very comfortable bed. Fran and Rod have thought of everything for their guests comfort and relaxation. We absolutely loved it. Thank you for making our stay so memorable. We have traveled everywhere in Australia and The Glade is definitely in our top 5 stays. If we could give more than a 10 rating, we would. We will definitely be back..Thank you again🙏🌸
