We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Lovely hosts, beautifully clean room. Amazingly bed, oh so good. Everything was perfect. Beef pie was amazing in the restaurant. Tried a few local beers as well as a few local wines. Impressive wine list. Cosy fireplace. Great music and excellent service. A Masterclass in hospitality.

So glad I found this place on our travels. On a cold day we arrived to find our room toasty warm. We'd booked ahead a table in the restaurant and gotta say, so bloody glad we did. The food was fabulous, equal to any flash restaurant. Beef cheeks and scalloped potatoes, lamb shank pie, so good, washed down with lovely local wine, gluten free sticky date pudding was to die for. Terrific atmosphere, an open fire radiating its charm. With attentive staff who were genuine to please and chat. And why not, the place is like a magnet for those in the know who wants good food and wine. Beds were very comfy and we had a snug and peaceful sleep.

The food was outstanding and the open fire in the restaurant/bar was an added bonus. The room was clean and comfortable with all the facilities we required. I'd happily stay there again.
