Bed was to close to the walls. Cleaner needs to check dishes as the last person had placed them back into the drawer wet and slightly dirty.

Sofa could be renewed - a bit old and able to feel the springs underneath, but still functional. Otherwise no complaints!

Loved all the amenities in the room! Including the well stocked kitchen with oil, salt and pepper, the massive bed, the spa and the extra large towels. Beautiful and private room with a honeymoon suite feel. Easily able to communicate with staff via text messages.

No ironing facility in laundry. Bed would have been OK to be just a queen - wasn’t a lot of room there with the spa.

Great outlook from anywhere in the room, unusual layout and the spa, kitchen and laundry. Nice having a deck to sit out on. Appreciated the extra clean large windows to enjoy the view and birds.

I wouldn't recommend it, given the quality of food on offer, but for guests who want to cook a lot of their own meals in the chalet, the cookware would need to be expanded.

The chalet was lovely and private. All the food was superb, Eloise being a chef! Everything we ate, whether for lunch or for dinner, was so good. The highlight for us was our dinner of Parrot fish, whole, fresh caught by Eloise's husband (commercial fishing business), prepared in a garlic, ginger, soy sauce and delivered to our chalet by Eloise. The best new year's eve dinner!

It was an off for the staff and restaurant. Miss the chance to taste famous fish dishes!

Spacious stand alone self contained chalet with comfortable bed and a big sitting area. There is an outdoor table with chairs next to the sitting area for you to enjoy the cool air and observe the fairy wrens on the lawn. Full laundry facilities. A good base for you to explore the peninsula.

Not enough room to move easily around the king size bed. The sunken lounge needed to be traversed to get from the bed to the kitchen and bathroom which was a worry at night. We didn’t realise that the lodge was a single area with a bathroom, thus making the sunken lounge an issue.

Good location, great to have a washing machine and dryer.

Just trivial things such as the washing machine jumping around. The tv was hard to work. Nowhere around to get good coffee in the morning. WiFi was terrible... didnt matter that much as we were there to get away from it.

The view from the room was gorgeous. Spa next to the bed was soo good. Windows all around with full closing blinds is a great idea for romantic getaways. Also close to Port Arthur.
