Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

there was confusion,where to leave the keys, we left them with reception. Unfortunately The Perfect Host then could not retrieve the keys and is now charging us $400-

The kitchen was poorly stocked. No fry pan to cook with just a wok, no sharp knife just a bread knife and a pairing knife, 3 bowls 4 plates and 3 glasses, no spare bin bag. For a 3 bedroom apartment it could have more as I chose to pay more to stay in an apartment so that I could save money and cook.
Very clean and comfortable, great location and a very nice view. Excellent communication with owner and easy directions. Thank you we would book again

Some problems with the remotes.not sure if it is our lack of knowledge in how to use them or a Problem with them. Especially the light in main bedroom and TV. A suggestion may be to have a folder in the use of such things. Some problems with only one bathroom in use due to repairs.

Sheets were very thin and a blanket would have been nice. Carpet and rug looked a little too worn out.

Issues in the room making facilities unable to be used. Host done what they could at the time and made us an offer for future stay however we have never recieved that confirmation of offer in writing.

Property could have been more clean (main bedroom had stains on the sheets) but was in good condition otherwise.
We’ve stayed in these apartments a few times now but our most recent stay in apartment 34 was by far our favourite! The view was beautiful and the apartment was so spacious. Location is wonderful too! Check in seamless & easy.

Shower broke and while I appreciate that they need to know when you leave, I felt like I received too many messages asking when I was leaving etc. I had till 10 but left at 9

Only one toilet roll provided...as we were ( witg kids) stayed 4 nights had to buy more toilet paper. Needed more rubbish bin bags. But this woudnt stop me from rebooking again.
Great Location --> walking distance to library and eastshores, great views from the room balcony. Good size apartment ,secure parking, clean and tidy. Utensils provided. After hours property manager responds to messages quicker.

The fan in the master bedroom was not working, neither was the microwave oven. We could not access free to air television channels.
Communication with the host was exceptional. The location was exceptional, and the apartment really suited the needs of the group travelling together. The temperature controls inside the property were good and suited the weather.

Parking can be a bit tricky especially when there are large cars beside the spot.

The photos aren’t of the unit I booked. Needs maintenance. Toilet in the first bathroom at first didn’t refill after flushing but as it turned out it took almost an hour to fill & only filled 1/4 of the tank. The bottom towel rail was missing off the wall. The other toilet in the front ensuite would just start refilling on its own & there was a hole in the back of the bedroom door. We ate out but there was very limited cutlery & the oven tray & vent was in need of a clean. Would have like to have stayed in the unit I booked from the pictures online.
It was a very spacious unit & location was very close to cafe/pubs. You can park your car & walk next door to the hotel for a meal or down the road a bit to the Sailing club. Coffee Club up the road a bit. Great views. Good air con. Had a lift which is great with carting luggage. The windows are well insulated which cut most of the noise from the hotel next door. Very secure parking. Good directions for entry.
