The location is quite busy so there is a bit of road noise, I’m a light sleeper so it wasn’t ideal for that reason.

The room was lovely and clean, very comfy bed and the balcony was great. It was surprisingly quiet considering you are upstairs from a bar and bistro.

I love the heritage hotel. Huge room & beautifully updated bathroom. Fabulous shower, very comfy bed. Nice & quiet area. A short walk to where I needed to visit. Very close to train station, cafe's & many other shops.

Bumper to bumper traffic on exit road during peak time on departure morning.

In room Fridge was a bit noisy.

I was really hungry and portion size was huge. My dinner met that brief. Really tasty and loads of variety to choose from. Definitely Value for money. Comfy bed and warm surroundings.

The bed was hard and uncomfortable, could have been cheaper, the toilet seat wasn't held in place properly and moved around, the road noise was loud, no bin in the room..

Noise from traffic. Balcony is huge but would avoid Balcony rooms if you want to avoid noisy traffic.

Location was both good and bad. Good as it was so close to amenities like local cafes, station etc. But because it was so close to busy road, it meant the room I was was not protected from traffic noise.

Just the stairs were really the only downside.

I am somewhat disabled, and I gagged a little when I saw the stairs, however the staff were most helpful and assisted me with my bags and also obliged by bringing my meal upstairs to my room. The meal was excellent and great value. The staff were great.

No-one told us the checkout procedure for in the morning, and there wasn't anyone around that we could see when we left, so we just left our key in the door.

The location is great, easy access to both the train station and Drouin township. Room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Was a nice day so we sat on the balcony for a while and had a cuppa. The hotel is on a main road so plenty of traffic passing by, but it wasn't noisy at night and we slept well. We appreciated the additional pillows in the wardrobe. We stayed on a Sunday night and the bistro was quite busy but we managed to get a table for two as walk-ins. Recommend booking if there's a group of you. Meal was great, we both had garlic prawns and cocktails. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

I would of liked to have a chain on the door for more security.

The room was comfortable and represented great value. Perfect for me. Heating was very good and bed was very comfortable. Really lovely stay.

The shower in this room is in bad condition. I stayed here last room and privately messaged the owner about this and it’s disappointing that it’s still the same. The fixture (arm) is constantly coming out of the wall. Needs to be reattached.

Only fault was there was no bath mat for the shower

For a pub hotel it was very quiet in the rooms. The meals downstairs was excellent The staff were friendly and able to answer all my questions and able to direct me to a get place for breakfast in walking distance
