How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Sebel is beginning to show some signs of age. Only minor signs but some need for attention. We would have preferred a King size bed. The extra large bed was more like a Queen Size. The tiling was a little old fashioned but clean with signs of wear. Bathroom was immaculate but some dampness issues at the base of the door. Excellent shower but older style, glass door. A noisy swimming pool with loud excited children. Luckily, our room did not overlook the pool. I would avoid being close to the pool is you are travelling as a couple.
Location of the Sebel is excellent. It opens onto Hasting St. Very close to all shops, restaurants and the beach. Security was good, fittings and layout of apartment was good. Parking was secure and underneath the property and entered from the rear of the property so no need to navigate busy Hastings St.

A little confusing to find the reception area and quiet confusing to get to and find your room. No view of Noosa. Found it to be very expensive for what you get. Outdated and damaged furniture. Underneath furniture not very clean, no attention to detail, rooms need a general update. Pillows sure need an update, very old. Curtains full of mould and stained. No food available.
In the heart of Noosa. Short walk to the mian beach,eateries & shopping. Big hotel and nice pool positioning. Undercover secure parking, no charge. Lift access. Amenities were good with laundry facilities in the room. Room control air conditioning. Apartment layout very well thought of. Great bathroom products to use and a huge bathroom. Great shower pressure. Very quiet room.

The apartment we had, although spacious and well appointed is looking very tired and dated. The furnishings were uncomfortable, stained and just need to be replaced. The bed also is in need of replacement.
The property is in a fantastic location, close to all amenities and right in the middle of all the restaurants, shops etc. The outdoor area of the property is immaculately maintained and is picture perfect. The apartment we stayed in was very spacious and met all our requirements.

Only the noise level at 6.00 am in the morning from the rubbish truck
We had the river view which I requested, but the noise in the morning of the rubbish pick up was very loud and lots of banging. Ill know better next time. No river view

We have stayed at the Sebel before but in a privately owned apartment so it was immediately obvious that although the apartment was very clean and spacious with relatively new appliances, it was a bit dated in terms of furnishing and colour scheme (very beige) and could do with a refresh. Storage is very limited so many clothes stayed in the case for the duration of our break – it would probably be better to replace the spa bath in the bedroom with a larger wardrobe.
Location is superb, right in the middle of Hastings street, set back from the road so nice and quiet but with restaurants, shops and the beach right by the door. Staff were really helpful and friendly. The pool area and garden beds are really pretty. The apartment was spacious for two people and had a lovely balcony, carefully screened so quite private despite the apartments of another resort just opposite. Had all the necessary facilities for a holiday apartment: decent size fridge/freezer, kettle, coffeemaker, iron, cook top, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, tv etc. All in all, great value for money, particularly for Noosa. The room seemed to be serviced daily with bins emptied daily, bathroom and kitchen wiped down and towels replenished regularly plus two full cleans during our week's stay.

We parked our car in the parking basement. We should have been told to come up to reception to check in, then go back down to get our luggage. Otherwise people are lugging luggage all over the place. Also, I've stayed here before so I knew to go to the rear of the property for parking, but if I didn't know, I wasn't told not to go to Hastings Street. They were doing work around the pool - of course it has to happen sometime to keep the place looking good but the pool water and the ponds around the walkway all looked a bit murky.
The position of the hotel is excellent, right on Hastings Street. Comfortable bed. Good shower pressure and large bathroom. In fact the whole room was very large with a small kitchenette and lounge area.
