How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Extremely clean and quiet. Excellent bed - very comfortable. Lady host was lovely and welcoming. Everything that could be needed was right there. Parked undercover. Lovely garden at the back. All in all an excellent place to stay.

We really enjoyed our short but very comfortable stay at the studio. Gunal is a wonderful and friendly host. It has all the amenities to unwind after a busy day exploring the area. We especially liked the beautiful green garden with the frog and the amazing bed. It is really a nice accomodation and I would definitely come here again for a longer time!

A charming host.Studio was clean and well maintained. Gunal was very accommodating and alot of thought was put into the studio, especially with the little extra treats, which were lovely. Would highly recommend

The ambience of the studio was fantastic. Our hostess, Gunal, made us feel very welcome. We only stayed for one night, but it felt like we were home, especially the Freddo frogs left in the kitchen for guests. We have happily recommended the Singing Frogs Studio to our friends.

We loved everything about it.
The property was great. Very spacious. The hosts showed us around since we were settled. The hosts had everything there which made it a very friendly user place. They left chocolates and biscuits and had a few essentials in the fridge. There were plenty of towels, quality shampoo, conditioner etc.

Not having a sink in the kitchen and having to use the trough in the laundry.
The frog theme was cute and the suite was very comfortably furnished. Bed was very comfortable.

After a long day driving it was wonderful to experience the comfort, spacious and peaceful accommodation under Gunal's home. Parking is in a safe driveway, literally right outside the door to the accommodation. The space consists of one larger dining/kitchen/lounge room, a separate bedroom and a separate bathroom. If you've ever visited Coffs Harbour you'll know the water pressure is exceptional. Kitchen and bathroom had everything you'd want and the back garden was delightful.

Absolutely everything. Beautiful appartment underneath private home everthing you need has been thought of. My husband said its the best bed he has ever slept in shame it was only overnight would have liked longer

Thank you for an unforgettable stay in your lovely studio apartment. The cozy, peaceful atmosphere made it a perfect retreat, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. The apartment was just the right size, and I especially enjoyed the garden with its delightful Jasmine fragrance—such a thoughtful touch! Your attention to detail in keeping the space clean and tidy did not go unnoticed, and the sweet treats were a delightful surprise for those of us with a sweet tooth! Most importantly, your warmth and care made this place feel like a true home away from home. I’d love to stay in touch and hope to visit again once we’ve settled in town. I’m truly grateful for the experience and look forward to the possibility of building a lasting friendship!

No running water in the kitchen, Had to use the laundry/bathroom sink. The sink was set up for both bathroom and kitchen, but it would have been easier if there was a sink in the actual kitchen.
