Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We loved the quiet area . Sue had thought of everything right down to the TimTams in the fridge. A great stay in Esperance.

Our stay at the accommodation in Esperance was simply wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and received lots of great tips for exploring the area. The room was spotlessly clean, cozy, and decorated with so much attention to detail – we felt at home right away. Cooking was done with an air fryer, which was a bit unusual at first, but with a little research, it turned out to be easy and even quite fun. We can wholeheartedly recommend this place and would love to come back anytime!

Everything was good no complaints the owners even took us to the bus stop : )
The Hosts were very accommodating ,the room lovely & cosy nice big TV! With all the Sports! Lovely quiet street with IGA & fish n chips & pizza & burger around the corner, electric scooter hire available there as well.

Stay was short
This place is indeed a Treasure Box! The location is not far from the beach ( few minutes driving). There are IGA, Bakery, Butcher shop and a take away place within walkable distance. The powerful shower is the best of our 3 months trip ! The hospitality of the host is superb with so many details to cater more than we could ask. The unit is not huge but it furnished in a very cozy and practical way. We didn’t use the cooker provided as there are many food restaurants within walkable distance few minutes drive away. The filtered water for drinking is also a bonus. We found a little treasure box under the tv and it’s filled with all sorts of sweets and chocolate 😋our two day stay was very enjoyable and would recommend highly.

A beautiful, clean, organised and thoughtful place to stay! Sue was the real treasure, so willing to help and do anything to make our stay more enjoyable and more comfortable. Had everything we needed, we really loved it and would definitely stay here again. 10/10 stay.

Sue and Paul, lovely couple, were really helpful with information and advice and couldn't do enough for us. Accommodation was ideally situated to visit all places of interest and Town Centre. Bed was very soft, but that might just be personal preference that we prefer a firmer mattress. No really cooking facilities, although there was an air fryer.
Extremely clean and tidy, very friendly and welcoming host. Tea, coffee, and milk provided.

Excellent accommodation, very clean and comfortable. Shops and restaurants within walking distance. Excellent and very knowledgeable hosts made are stay extra special . Fabulous beaches

Sue is an exceptional hosts. The unit was very clean with plenty of storage space. It had everything we needed and so much more. The sheltered outdoor space was a real gem.

We liked EVERYTHING about the Treasure Box, it was perfect. The bed was sooo comfy had trouble getting up in the morning. Sue was really nice to and gave us lots of useful tips for our visit.

No teapot, but the host said she would get one! Husband is very picky with his tea! No oven, but did not really matter as we ate dinners out, or had a microwave meal.
Extremely well set out and the outside patio was a bonus.

Meticulously planned setup for a couple of individuals. Excellent customer service from Sue who ensured we were comfortable at all times during our stay, and responded timely to all our queries. The unit has everything that we needed for a short break before crossing Nullarbor 😊 highly recommend!!
