Would appreciate more consistent hot water—having the water turn cold halfway through a shower isn't ideal. The room was also quite warm for an April night, but turning on the air conditioning at 3 am felt disruptive to other guests. Unfortunately, opening the window resulted in mosquito bites. I mean I can't ask too much for this price but would like to see some improvements.

Our stay was exceptional. We were made very welcome, the facilities were excellent, and the meals were very nice. I would definitely recommend this to others who require accommodation in this town. We enjoyed a very successful birding activity at the local water hole, and enjoyed a sunset stroll through the town with added bonus of wonderful star gazing.

The facility itself is old but from how the owners decorated the rooms and what supplied in the public showrooms can tell how much they take care of customers. The bed mattresses are comfortable and pillows are soft. The owners are a lovely couple.

For a regional small country town, Woomelang Hotel provides great comfort for weary travellers. Hotel owners, Graham and Lisa were welcoming even though we turned up slightly earlier than the check in time. We were shown around and put to ease regarding our movement without troubling the hosts as our mainly activity was to go to Lake Tyrell for both sunset, star gazing and sunrise. Distance to Lake Tyrell was only ~ 35 minutes away. Breakfast was self serve.

Perhaps the stairs - but only because I have knee problems, and have difficulty climbing and descending a staircase. For anyone without a problem, it wouldn’t be a negative.

The hotel building in over 100 years old. The owners have gone to great lengths to keep it well-maintained, and add comforts for the tired traveller.

Basic continental breakfast was set up when I went down but as I hadn't mentioned the time I'd be leaving the milk and butter were not out but I had my own anyway. Hosts were welcoming and happy to help. Its an old pub but the bar is not open to the public. Comfy lounge to watch tv and tea and coffee supplies upstsirs if you need a late cuppa. Guests can buy a drink and an evening meal can be supplied given notice. The town has its own lovely mini silo trail that's a nice walk. Very little open after 5.

I just had a stay over night. In the future, if i get a chance, i will definitely visit the woomelang hotel.

People of the Hotel are really helping and friendly. The beds were neat and clean, hot and cold shower facilities. Also, they offer a healthy breakfast in the morning.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly, and made my staying very pleasant. The hotel is a renovated historical building that provides for every needs. The rooms have shared facilities, but the place is very cozy and much care is put in details and services.

The Woomelang Hotel is a quirky place to stay. It's an old hotel converted to boutique accommodation. The owner and manager, Graeme, provides quality cooked evening meals for those who are staying. Woomelang is a hamlet in the Wimmera-Mallee and ordinarily would not be high on anyone's 'must visit' list. But the Woomelang Hotel is itself worthy of a detour (as well as the clean public toilets in the town, all with a visitor's book!). My single room had shared toilet facilities which had been modernised and were clean and fresh. The Woomelang Hotel is for real people who look for real life experiences when they travel and was a highlight of our tour of the Victorian wheat country.
