Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThis was our second stay at the Tiny Escapes, still a very welcoming and delightful spot. Enjoyed the quietness and the view. The room was well maintained too.

SingaporeThe heater made a dull knocking sound when turned on. We thought someone was knocking was outside and took sometime to figure that it was the heater.
Thoughtfully and tastefully designed cabin with everything we need for a memorable stay. We appreciate the well stocked kitchen, spacious shower stall (with nice toiletries) and powerful heating elements. The place was really well maintained and hygiene is 100%. Would love to stay again!

AustraliaOnly a tip for those staying in Winter. Remember that hot air rises, so you may want to turn down the heater and crack a window or two before heading up to the bed. It certainly gets toasty up there!
The tiny stays are incredible. They are clean, have ample kitchen equipment and of course boast amazing views of Cradle Valley. The magic starts from the moment you turn off the road and take the drive to find your ‘tiny’. A beautiful stay. Two nights wasn’t long enough.

United StatesEverything was great at the Wattle. I loved it there. If I had to improve it, I'd add hooks to the bathroom for hanging clothes and towels, and a woodstove fireplace indoors. It was rainy in winter so I couldn't use the outdoor firepit (and I'm not sure I know how to start a fire anyway, but it was great that they included logs). And add a railing down the lower ladder for safer descents. I emailed ahead of time and asked a lot of basic questions that should be on the website so visitors could better prepare to know about what the kitchen includes and what the fireplace situation was and what the wifi and cell situation was. It isn't glamping. It's an electrified cabin with wifi and a kitchen for cooking and hot water in the shower.
Gorgeous, huge windows looking out over the forested mountain (no humans or other cabins in sight), and a skylight in the cozy loft bedroom (where you can open the window to let in fresh air and hear the birds). I like the gamebook and color book and colored pencils (analog fun). You can walk down the gravel drive to admire the gorgeous ferns and trees. Great place to stay when visiting Cradle Mountain National Park and you want some privacy. Get Groceries in a city ahead of time or eat at the Inns/Lodges around the park.

AustraliaLeaving - we dont enjoy leaving.
Second time we have stayed there, and still just as beautiful, just as amazing and breathtaking an absolute must if you are looking for somewhere to stay where you feel secluded, looking for peace and tranquility, a short 20minute drive up to the wonderful cradle mountain where you can see the wombats, take a walk around the lakes and countryside, this place is truly special!

AustraliaThe only thing was we couldn’t locate the light switch for outside lights, as we went out to devils at night, but the full moon made up for that so not a big problem.
We loved the privacy, the facilities and the view. We were lucky to have had beautiful clear nights with below zero temperatures. And we were super cozy inside. The fire pit out side was a big bonus.

ThailandIt's not far from Cradle Mountain though we had to drive a bit more from the main road entrance. Anyway, That's also one of the reason you should come to stay here as it's close to the nature and so quiet at night. We're also super lucky to capture the Aurora Australis from here. We had an incredible stay here.

AustraliaAmazing location just out of Cradle Mountain. It was an easy drive to the main carpark where you catch the shuttle bus to your various walks. The beauty of this place is you feel like you're the only ones around, in a lovely bush setting. The accomodation has great heating/cooling, was clean and has all the little bits and pieces to make your stay really comfortable. Can't recommend this accommodation enough. Well done to the hosts for thinking about everything.

So peaceful, clean and very beautiful. The owners had everything planed meticulously. Everything you needed and all quality. The instructions, signage, and directions left nothing to chance. The shower was great and the bed comfortable. Very warm inside during cold evenings. What a beautiful view and the sky was full of stars whilst enjoying an outdoors fire. AustraliaThe only slight let down was the bed was quite uncomfortable but that’s probably a personal opinion and the set up doesn’t really allow for anything different but we throughly enjoyed our stay and would come back in a heartbeat !
Stunning property, stunning location, nice and close to cradle mountain but far enough to escape the crowds ! the view was epic and great for star gazing and aurora watching !
