Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The front door was strangely tucked away and the keypad to unlock it was a bit tricky. There was an accessible side door. We used this instead.
Loved the location, it was close to everything but very peaceful. The house was spotless, cosy and had everything you might need in the kitchen and bathrooms. The beds and linen were wonderful.

It was all great!
Excellent property with modern, extremely comfortable interior and wonderful garden our dog enjoyed. The position in Torquay is perfect in a quiet street and we walked to all local beaches, ocean front paths and shopping area. Highly recommended and thank you so much for providing a great home away from home.

We really had to think about this and it feels a little nitpicky, but while the dining table and chairs looked really lovely, the table was actually pretty wobbly and some of the chairs were too low for sitting comfortably at the table.
Emma, our host, could not be more helpful before, during and after our stay. It was great to know that someone was available to assist if we ever need them. The place itself was so welcoming, spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. Being so close to everything in Torquay yet it was so quiet that you'd never know. You literally could hear a pin drop.

Beautiful property, well equipped with everything you need for your stay. Great location, close to local shops and the beach. So great, I've stayed here twice! Both times with dogs, and it is a very dog friendly place with a big enclosed yard. On my second stay, I was arriving in the early evening and the hosts had turned the heater on for me. What a wonderful surprise to walk into a warm house!

This little house is very cosy, the fire is beautiful and warms the lounge room very quickly. The kitchen has plenty of plates, glasses, pots & pans etc, and it was great to see some cling wrap, foil, papertowel, salt and pepper etc, it made the stay so easy. When you only stay for a couple of days, these little things are appreciated. Plenty of toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc, it was very welcoming having these every day items available. The location is fantastic, easy walk to the beach and shops. I really enjoyed my little break and I would definitely re-book this accommodation. Thank you.

Nothing. Everything was great!
The house and property were wonderful. Very clean and spacious, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We took our dog who absolutely loved the huge backyard! The heating was lovely for the cold mornings and evening too. Would love to come back and stay again!

Not enough hot water for everyone's showers.
Great location! Walk to beach, to the surf shops and into town for coffees and meals! Perfect size for 2 couples/families to stay. Well equipped kitchen with coffee machine Lovely backyard with deck area for bbq. Would recommend!

Lots of Spiders!!! - this can be typical in this area though so I wouldn’t put it down to this property only.
Everything was amazing from the location to the property and backyard. It had everything you could ever need and also plenty to do.
