Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Disappointed that our chalet didn’t have a washing machine or dryer. Also no separate recycling bin or information about where to put recycling rubbish
Very close to town and minutes from a gin distillery and a fantastic Brewhouse serving lovely food and beer.

We were a bit concerned on arrival when we realised this villa was one of many in a complex, however it turned in a bonus as it was very quiet and private. A new experience and one that changed our thinking

Window treatments did not provide complete privacy as one small section of the vertical blind was missing. Considering the cost of staying there the window treatments were not great in the family living area.
Layout of 2x ensuite double bedrooms was great as I was with my adult daughter. It was only a short walk into Dunsborough - 10 minutes on a good path. The villa was very well appointed with games puzzles tvs in each room. When I contacted the management about a damaged frying pan, they promptly came around and replaced it with a new one which I was very grateful for.

Due to an technical error the wifi didn’t work. Help was available but the error remained.

It would have been useful to have a cloth to clean with. Clearer instructions on how the oven works could have been useful.
It was in a wonderful location, close to lots of things near by. The house was left in a brilliant condition and was clean and comfortable, provided with all we needed. Hosts were helpful with all questions and sorting out any concerns.

Arrived had no room number had code for key spent hours walking around trying to find the room, got a message back after sending a email what the room number was, was just about ti drive back to Perth, so not a great start

There needs to be more visual cues or signage out the front to indicate where to turn. Night time lights made it easier to find. Had several things that needed attention Blind on front window needed replacement, Noisy ceiling fan in bedroom, Rug in lounge needed cleaned
It was clean, quiet, comfortable, spacious, and the ammenities were well laid out and easy to find.

A few light globes were out:- One globe in twin spotlight in open lounge directed towards table, and a globe in square light fitting near shower in one of the ensuite bathrooms. Other than that all facilities and kitchen provisions were excellent. Cheers.

Lounge cabinets needed attention( delaminating) lounge rug badly stained needed cleaning or replacing.
Location was ideal for our needs. Places of interest were a short drive away.

Have made a few suggestions for management to investigate (which aren't worth mentioning as they either minor or preferences or already highlighted in other reviews)
Lovely villa with a relaxing, quiet vibe. Great water pressure for the showers and kitchen. everything you needed for a stay. Bonus of having Stan on cold rainy nights helped keep things entertaining at night. Board games and puzzles available. Management are quick to take on board all suggestions and helpful with feedback and communication. Lots of comfy pillows and cushions to choose from. Heaters supplied for bedrooms.

Bed was not comfortable. There did not seem to be heaters in the bathroom. Overall it was a nice stay.
The location was good and the feel was very welcoming. I would stay again for a short visit due to the location.

The lighting in the lounge wasn't very good. There were a couple of globes missing which we reported but no-one came to fix them. Also, sounds a bit silly, but there wasn't a scourer or a cloth under the sink, although there was every thing else. The pans could do with replacing too.
Location was excellent, although the sign on the road isn't very clear. We drove well past it before we turned around to find it!!!

TV in bedrooms only had limited options i.e. channel 2 and a few others

Perhaps a sign on other side of road would be good. Hard to find in bad weather or the dark.
The bedrooms have en suite.
