The location was gorgeous with stunning views! The owners were both lovely and incredibly helpful. Highly recommend dinner at Samphire Restaurant attached to the property for a wonderful dining experience.

Modern, clean and minimalist designs. Friendly dog to keep you company and very attentive host. My son loved the breakfast bar. It was a real hit for my 2 yr old.

This is not a criticism at all. Was looking forward to the degustation menu but restaurant only operates from Wednesday-Sunday.

Exceptional room - beautifully appointed with a stunning view over the water. The hosts were exceptional as well, such beautiful people! Breakfast was included with so much variety & excellent coffee! We could have stayed longer!

Note Winter time on island, positron / location, breakfast was a bonus and very good , owners very informative about the island .

Great locaton, great service and hospitality/food

Every single staff member was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Don’t miss their 7-course menu at the restaurant, every dish was delicious!!!

Beautiful room with a lovely tree filtered view of the water. Our Host had the room warmed for us on arrival which was a nice touch on a cold day. Breakfast and coffee were great too. Would stay here again!

The welcome, service, cleanliness, food was exceptional

The rooms are set up very nicely and the views from the balcony were beautiful. The owners were very helpful and accomodating. I would highly recommend staying here.

The rooms were tastefully styled and the view out over American River to Island Beach was stunning. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and the complimentary breakfast complete with freshly baked pastries and coffee was a pleasant surprise. I look forward to visiting again.

There’s nothing to dislike about The Riverview Suites!

Spacious room, well laid out, comfortable beds and pillows, fantastic breakfast and dinner.

Beautifully appointed rooms with everything we needed. Amazing local seafood restaurant on the property - would highly recommend this experience!

The location was lovely with a view of the river, the breakfast was delicious and it was handy having the restaurant so close. The suite has a stylish design and was very comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming.

The River Suites are very modern, very clean and very comfortable. The hosts are lovely people, very obliging. The bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The suites are conveniently located at American River, the rooms have fantastic views. I’d highly recommend this accommodation.

We had breakfast and dinner at River Suites. The food was absolutely fabulous and our hosts were lovely. The impression was this is a much loved family business. River Suites was fully booked during our stay but the owners still managed to remember the names of all seven of our family. Impressive!
