Great location, close to the town centre but also secluded enough to enjoy a relaxing time away. The views were exceptional and the cottage had everything we needed.

The cottage was in a great location with great views. It was very comfortable and provided everything we needed. We wanted an escape for the weekend and the environment gave us that. Being not too far away from Brisbane, we will keep it in mind and will hopefully be able to come and stay again. Thanks for everything, Gayle.

It gets pretty windy on winter nights, but there's not much anyone can do about it. Light sleepers might want to bring some earplugs.

Only a 10-minute drive to the main street. Very convenient considering it is in the mountains.

These are just general things we just observed while staying there. Everything was wonderful, but we thought that these things needed to be looked at 🥰 1)They need to update the pillows 😑 2)The kitchen sink tap needs fixing the whole tap was moving 🫤 3)The toaster may need changing, and the chopping boards we bit used. The microwave needs to be a bit more powerful. 4)They need to put a row of hooks in the bathroom just like the bedrooms so you can hang your towel up. 5) The driveway needs some pepples, so the car tyres can grip as it was starting to get a bit boggy and with no inside door mat it was hard not to bring dirt into the house.

The house could feel more like a home. Several other places we stayed at during our trip were injected with their host's personality/style (eg. books, heritage, artworks) and the difference is a feeling of comfort/livability and wanting to stay longer from the guest's perspective.

We were amazed by the views on the way to White Cedar Cottage. Such a beautiful part of the world! It was clean and had all the amenities required. Being pet-friendly was perfect for us and our small cavoodle had a fun time sniffing around the gardens. A kookaburra sat on a tree branch in the front whilst cows munched on green grassy hills at the back. We had breakfast in Maleny which was lovely and it's one of the best towns across VIC, NSW, and QLD in our opinion. A great community vibe with every convenience!

The shower head was heavy and kept falling back on itself which was troublesome for some guests

Google took us to the house next door (Lavender cottage) it wasn't until we realised someone was already there did we realise we were in the wrong cabin. tried to contact the host with no luck. And, the stove top didn't work and we were counting on it, so improvised and cooked in the oven.
