This is one of the best places we have ever stayed at. A beautifully designed house. We were in the upstairs suite for 4 nights, had our own separate lounge area. Bedroom was very spacious and doors opened out onto a terrace which overlooked the pool area. We loved being able to help ourselves to the very substantial breakfast. Interacting with other guests is a bonus in my view, especially if you have been travelling by yourself for a while. Wilmots on Dixon is a credit to the owners and thoroughly recommended.

This peaceful accommodation offers well-equipped rooms with comfortable beds, TV, ample storage, dressing gowns, and toiletries and we slept soundly both nights. Shared spaces feature several outdoor areas with seating, BBQs, a pool, laundry facilities, and a spacious indoor lounge, dining room, and kitchen, each room even has its own fridge allocated to it in the kitchen area. Lots of travel tips and information plus a reading book library. Prepare your own breakfast in your own relaxed way from a wide selection: yogurt, fresh fruits, cereals, breads, the fluffiest homemade muffins, and all you need for a full English breakfast (or Ozzie Fry Up!), omelettes, or various other egg styles. Plenty of jams and spreads are available. The guilty pleasure after your big feast — you don’t wash up or clean up after breakfast. It's definitely worth a stay, and a taxi from Alice Springs Todd Street/The Library costs just $20.

This was the perfect place for our 8 night stay in Alice Springs. Plenty of areas to relax and cool off after a day out sightseeing. The breakfast choices were outstanding with everything provided for you to cook up a storm if you wished. Fresh fruit, home made muesli and muffins were a real treat. Comfy bed and pillows and a fabulous shower head! There are 3 separate sleeping wings and a shared kitchen. You can mingle with the other guests or find a quiet space for solitutde. Ian and Helen made us feel very welcome in their purpose built B&B, their local knowledge on what to see and do with your time in Alice was invaluable.

The „Wilmots on Dixon“ is a great place to stay in Alice. Really nice kitchen, it’s a fun to cook in the evening if you want. Very good breakfast. Outside areas are beautifully designed, nice to sit there or have a swim. Helen and Ian are very friendly hosts, and also very helpful. We had a good time there!

To short a stay

I can,t recommend these guys high enough. Nothing was any trouble. Would I stay again , that is a no brainer . We were there three nights. Next time much longer. You certainly won't go away hungry, breakfast consisted of fruits, cereals Yogurt. Bacon eggs of any description. The best bnb we have ever stayed. Donna and Brian

We have travelled widely and never before given a 10. Not only was this place spacious, beautifully appointed the hosts Ian and Helen went out of their way to spoil their guests in a quiet and unobtrusive ways. The breakfast spread was stunning. Bonus use of kitchen, washing machine and clothes line, lots of places to sit and relax. Altogether just amazing.

Nothing negative to report it was perfect

Ian and Helen have created a little oasis in Alice Springs. It's called a B&B but it's so much more. There are 3 double bedrooms in self contained areas for privacy . There is a common kitchen area for you to prepare your own dinners if required and 3 separate BBQ areas for quests. The breakfasts are fantastic with everything you could wish for, and Helen makes the most amazing muffins. If you are looking to get away from the hotel experience in your red centre holiday then this is the place to stay We could not have a higher recommendation.

Very well appointed spacious rooms and kitchen. Friendly helpful host without being intrusive. Large comfortable bedroom with private sitting room or office. Surprise swimming pool. Amenities of a 5 star hotel including bathrobe but no slippers. Excellent breakfast
