Love the ambience, the fireplace in the lounge was gorgeous! Breakfast supplies in the room was a lovely touch aswell as the complimentsru cheese and biscuits and wine! I was so so excited to see womats just strolling around the property in the evening! Such a lovely experience and will definitely be back! No complaints! 🩷🩷

Beautiful place to unwind and relax, so quiet and the resident wombat is adorable. There was wine, cheese and crackers on arrival and a lovely breakfast. We had the place to ourselves which was a huge blessing and enjoyed the slow combustion fireplace in the evening. We are coming back!

The room was very well equipped for breakfast - there was a well-stocked tea/coffee station and kettle, and a breakfast tray with fruit, pastries and cereal options. There was also complementary wine and beer in the fridge, and a cheese/cold meat platter! We were overly judicious the first night and saved some food for the second day, but the trays were all topped up when the room was serviced! The verandah faced the mountains and a storm put on an amazing show for us, plus there was citronella and aerogard supplied to make it more pleasant watching the sunset alongside any insects. The location was convenient, and although mobile phone service was sketchy, there was some free wi-fi available in parts of the property. The large spacious dining and sitting rooms downstairs were very well-appointed, although we didn't use them. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to KV.

Not a big deal but maybe a sweep of the verandah would be good.

Generous supplies in the fridge. Wine, cheese & crackers all supplied which we ate on the verandah with a view of the mountains. Tea, coffee, pastries, jam, fruit, cereals & juice was plenty for breakfast. Great shower pressure & comfy beds. Great breeze on a hot day as well. Shame it was only for one night!

Not a negative for us but the dirt driveway that might catch out low slung vehicles or less confident drivers especially at night.

Huge comfortable room in beautiful bush setting. Lovely warm welcome from Jacinta (and Daisy the dog alarm)Very thoughtful inclusion of all the makings for a late night cheese board or a breakfast picnic on our own private balcony overlooking ducks on the dam.

Warm welcome by hosts, 2 and 4-legged. Lovely array of complimentary food and drinks. Most generous and thoughtful. Just what you need in this location. Shops and restaurants not round the corner. So quiet apart from the cicadas and birds.

Pat was incredibly accomodating and generous. He quickly responded to my late request for an early checkin . The house is totally private with a spectacular view of the mountains. Pat very generously provided us with food n drinks, snacks, fresh fruit cereal etc which kept us going all day . I highly recommend Wambatalla

We loved the location as it was close to a wedding venue we were attending. The property was quiet and peaceful, it felt very homely and was very comfortable. The beds and pillows were so comfy and sitting out on the balcony in the morning with a coffee was great. The grounds were lush and there were so many wombats! Pat was friendly and helpful and we wish we could have stayed longer.
