Shower base is too tall which seniors find very difficult to get in and out of the shower, needing help to access basic local television stations on the t.v and better lighting needed in the car park area.

Spacious room, free parking, restaurant, bar and bottle’O within seconds of the room, super friendly staff that help you with anything you need and nice quiet surrounding streets for a restful night sleep.

No air conditioning. No cutlery or crockery. Toaster wad provided but no plates and nothing to spread anything on toast was provided. Only one disposable wooden teaspoon was provided to make a hot drink.

Beds were comfortable.

the windows of the room had ben left open, I assume to air it out between guests, but this lead to bugs in the room including a large moth. couldnt get parking onsite as it was used by other guests and pub patrons, so parked across the road the the mens shed.

had a great meal at the Bistro, heaters in the room kept it very warm. good hot water supply for the shower.

most distrssed about the parking, I had room 1, and was unable to park in front of my door, as others parked there, being disabled was a disadvantage, I do not know if it was staff, or other guests...but that did cause some distress, especially trying to load my car in the morning I left.

the location was perfect for my needs, the hotel is very basic, the room was cold although a heater was on all the time, the tempreture never got above 16c being winter, the shower was good pressure, and do not turn the cold tap on, wait for the hot to get hot, and your pretty right. a kettle, 2 cups, with chips, but then I took my own, tea and coffee sachets, no plates or cutlery in the room, but staff very obliging when I requested some. the bed was ok, not a brilliant, but not bad either, just what you would expect for the price, and I did sleep! being the main point! a bit of noise late at night, with other guests going to bed and having their little raves...lol. I will add, the food is Brilliant...my family joined me, we had a variety from the menu, and everyone enjoyed their choice, including the divine desserts, great value for a feed!

The bathroom main light was not working (reported to staff) bathroom washbasin taps need replacing or at least new washers. (reported to cleaner). Only one window with flyscreen (broken) which was locked at a few centimetres. No flyscreen on door so difficult to get fresh air in. (Fan was adequate but not comfortable long term) Although the room was advertised as having a 'kitchenette' Unable to cook as no appliances. A microwave would have been adequate to warm up a frozen meal. (false advertising) Wardrobe wedged in behind kitchen bench could only open one door. Mainly used for storing extra bedding etc. A bench for a suitcase would have been helpful. First night a noisy party presumably in 'beer garden' went on until early morning. Other two nights very quiet. Car parking area badly needs resurfacing. Garden areas outside units useless as either a garden or for furniture as the legs of chairs sink dangerously. suggest covering with cement or paving.

Did not have breakfast at the facility. Location good centre of town .

Bathroom needs up grade. Fridge froze everything. Not even a teaspoon to stir coffee. No communication re exit...as in how to return key, when hotel was closed....all fine detail stuff. No bedside table or lamp.

"Cheap and cheerful." For the price you couldn't fault it. It was comfortable and clean, shower was good. Excellent meal at the Pub. Rooms were quiet.

Cleaning could have been better, also fridge hadn't been turned on and hubby didn't realize, so in the morning everything room temp.

location was great as we were attending a show at the theatre a few hundred metre from motel, rooms had been updated with new beds and carpet.

Have to be honest here, the only thing we could criticise would be the towels smelling like the chips! Sorry but clearly the laundry is way too close to the cooking vents.

The staff were great, the meal was great and the accommodation was great so in summary the Commercial Hotel was a great place to stay, we had football finals to attend and this accommodation helped us watch a 2 point loss for our grand son in the under 11s at Woodside and a 3 point win for our grand daughters under 18 youth girls grand final at Traralgon. Thanks to Jasman and her team, you were all fantastic and very welcoming. Cheers.

There was NO Cutlery, yet a toaster was provided and no plates of any sort to enjoy toast or any food. Sheer curtains ripped, No window locks and lack of fly screens. Fresh milk would be a nice touch
