excellent location within walking distance to beach and shops. recommend staying here if travelling to yeppoon. Definately will stay again

Great decor

This a really nice little motel which has been completely updated and they have done a very good job. Room was comfortable. The bed was great. Great little kitchen area. The staff were excellent, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Location is excellent as it is close to restaurants, shops and over the road from the beach and a club. Also a short walk to the lagoon pool. There is also a pool on the property itself and it's great.

We arrived at 630pm, having not seen the 6pm closing time on the booking. However there was a friendly sign on the office saying please call this number after hours, which we did. We apologized many times for being late, but the lady said it was a shame. There were then ants in the room (pretty extensive in every room), the lady’s response was to gave us a can of ant spray to deal with ourselves. Finally the room was pretty spartan and basic, bathroom was old. We couldn’t use the kitchenette, cutting board or any of the glassware because they had been covered in ants. Now, it was not an expensive hotel, but we were happy to be on the road the next morning.

This was a bit of a surprise for us – much nicer than we expected. The room was spacious, comfortable and spotless, with a great bathroom and basic kitchen facilities. The best thing was the people. Everyone we dealt with was super friendly and helpful. The motel is very conveniently located near various bars and with a great restaurant opposite, as well as a café for breakfast just across the road. It was wonderful to be able to swim in the sea after a long drive, and walk all along the front, listening to a huge number of parrakeets in the trees. For a motel, you won't do better than this.
