Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GeorgiaWe would like to recommend hotel to make breakfast more diverse. The location of the hotel is in the heart of the city center, but keep in mind that taxi needs extra fee to enter in, so be ready to walk a little in the uphill before you reach the hotel.
The staff was super helpful, especially I would like to mention Ali, who was the desk manager. He is very professional and super helpful. He made our stay most comfortable.

SpainThis hotel is an oasis in Baku's Old City. A quiet, safe place filled with friendly, welcoming people who are always trying to help you and make your stay more enjoyable. The breakfast is simply delicious; they cook eggs to your liking. The beds are comfortable, the room is air-conditioned, and the towels and room are clean. They provide all the water and tea you need. Highly recommended.

For the hotel and especially the people there we give 12 points- they were so kind and helpful and organized everything for us! Greetings to Tural, Ali and Habib! Thanks!

United KingdomBreakfast is only served between 9-11. That's really late for a hotel. Everywhere else I've been served from 0630/0700, so you miss it if you do any tours or want to get out before the heat. Also, the choice is very limited. If you don't like eggs, there's nothing. The pool isn't a swimming pool - it's a little plunge pool.
Location in the old town was really good and nearby to lots of restaurants and shops. The staff were so welcoming, helpful and friendly - couldn't fault them. The rooms are a decent size and it is clean. Good facilities in the room, with decent air con and WiFi.

NorwayI’m personally not a fan of big hotels — I prefer to avoid elevators, long corridors, breakfast lines, and the all-inclusive format. This small hotel was exactly what I was looking for. With fewer than 10 rooms, it felt quiet, personal, and easy to navigate. We had only breakfast included, which was simple yet satisfying — eggs, fresh vegetables, and warm bread. Just what I needed to start the day right. Location was a big plus: close to historic tour routes, the subway, and plenty of local food spots. You could go fancy at a nearby restaurant or grab street food just around the corner — the best of both worlds, depending on your mood. The hotel team was also incredibly flexible. I arrived early, and since my room was available, they let me check in with no extra charge. That was such a nice gesture and really appreciated.
I stayed here during a family vacation with my parents and friends, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. This small, family-run hotel has a cozy, welcoming vibe and a central location that made everything easily accessible. While the rooms are on the smaller side, the lovely terrace with a beautiful view more than made up for it — ideal for relaxed breakfasts with family or taking work calls in peace. The atmosphere is quiet and fuss-free, making it a great spot for those who appreciate privacy and a homely feel. The location couldn’t be better: close to popular tourist attractions, banks, and plenty of great restaurants. Excellent value for money. The staff were also accommodating — you can arrange a taxi through them, and they offer flexible breakfast hours upon request.

United Arab EmiratesThe room itself was clean and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. However, there was one major issue - the bathroom had a persistent and unpleasant odor.
We recently stayed at seven beauties hotel and spa and had a generally positive experience. The staff were absolutely amazing - friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The breakfast was great although they don’t serve buffet or much options.

United Arab EmiratesNothing really. Everything was quite nice. Had no negative eperience.
I enjoyed my stay in this beautiful boutique hotel. My room was on the first floor. Breakfast was served with pre-selected items and it was delicious. I have already recommended to my family and friends for their upcoming travel to Baku. Shirvanshah's Palace is located in just 3 minutes walk.

New ZealandWe chose this “hotel” deliberately to have somewhere with a concierge and front desk. We arrived in Baku in the pouring rain and after making our way through the old town streets on foot, found the front door locked and the bell not working. After a while of getting soaked, another guest heard us knocking and let us in. Overall, we were disappointed with this hotel and suspect some of the reviews may be AI generated: - Our “Two Bedroom Suite” was two small bedrooms connected by one door, with a very small bathroom off the first bedroom. This was not enough space for three adults. The bathroom was too small for additional supplies to be stored and so we ran out of toilet paper, etc. - One of the bedrooms had no windows. - The shower did not drain properly and flooded the bathroom. - The staff were generally unavailable and we had to go upstairs to find them chatting in the dining area when we needed things. They insisted we pay with cash immediately, escorting us to an ATM, and offered us a “gift” in exchange for this. This consisted of an hour’s use of the spa - the jacuzzi was cold even after they said they had warmed it up so we were unable to use this. - After arriving before check-in time and leaving our bags, we went out and noted we’d be back at check-in time. When we returned, our room was not ready and we had to find staff and wait while they cleaned the room and made up the beds. - A range of other issues; there was no milk at the breakfast, we were kept awake by noisy conversation in the corridor in the early hours.
- The location was excellent, walking distance to everything in old town. - Comfortable beds.
