How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The 5G Internet is tricky, but there is also a standard WiFi network which works fine.
Good hotel in the suburbs of Sarajevo. Very good room, very good breakfast, friendly and helful staff. The hotel is located close to the start of the runway of Sarajevo airport and the terrace on the 3rd floor is a good vantage point for plane spotters, but with the windows closed (AC on) there is no noise problem in the room. At the Ilidza terminus of tram 3, the hotel Bosna is easily reached.

A really excellent hotel. My room was comfortable, quiet, and perfectly clean. The breakfast buffet was very good. The location was great, in the center of Ilidža and a few steps away from the tram. And the staff was exceptionally kind, professional, and accommodating.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Bosna 1, located right in the center of Sarajevo. The hotel was very clean and perfect for a comfortable stay. Everything you need is nearby,malls, grocery stores, bakeries, and great shopping options. The breakfast was tasty, and the staff were incredibly helpful and professional. I definitely plan to visit again and highly recommend Hotel Bosna 1 to anyone visiting Sarajevo

Staff were absolutely fantastic. Went out of their way to help with everything we needed. Day we were leaving our flight was in the afternoon, they let us stay in the room until we had to leave for airport. I will definitely be back. Waiter called Musa made our stay. He made sure we were looked after all at all times. The girls on reception as well. In all honesty I can not wait to come back. Thank you guys 😊

Inside room the furniture is quite old and the air conditioning is super loud.

The only downside was that my room overlooked the tram station and it was occasionally noisy at night, but I've stayed here before and the room that I stayed in then was very quiet.
All the staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, and there was a hospitality tray and 2 bottles of water, which is unusual in Bosnia. Good choice of breakfast foods, cooked, and cold. It is situated in the centre of Ilidza and convenient for shops, the tram station etc. It is only a 10 minute walk across town and the river into lovely park land and on the way to the source of the Ruver Bosna.

Wifi reception at my room was not very good, it was stable, but quite slow. The air conditioning was working well, but it was quite noisy. The sink had some kind of leak, so every day there was a bit of water under it after using it. Overall, the room looks like it could use a renewal, everything was clean, but it looked old and worn.
Staff is friendly. Breakfast is simple, but good: there were fruits, ham, cheese, sausages and vegetables, a few days there were croissants, there was also bread, juice and coffee. The hotel is easy to find, though at first the entrance at night is not obvious, the first night I had to go through a parking lot to get to the entrance.

Just a one night stay, but this is a great value hotel in a location very handy for the airport. Close to many local restaurants and shops. Parking is free very easy with a garage next to the hotel. We arrived fairly late and the receptionist on check-in was very helpful in advising us of local places to eat and drink - Thank you !

The on-site restaurant is only open for breakfast, which was a bit inconvenient but there are loads of eating places within a short walk.
Everything was great, nice staff, well equipped room with both kettle and fridge as well as air-conditioning. Will stay again.
