How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewGreat location, close to city centre , free car park and Jasmine is a great host.
The place is very small in size, the toilet and shower room are extremely tight and you can't even change clothes in the shower. Window curtains are insufficient and the room gets filled with light too early in the morning. Streets are narrow and can be difficult to navigate. It may be a place for a couple but not for a family trip.

Verified reviewThe location is great, very close to the old town of Sarajevo, in a quiet neighborhood. You just need to walk a few wineries and you find yourself in the animated center of Sarajevo sipping Bosnian coffee! The bungalows are very nice and cozy and clean, and Jasmine, the lady who manages the place, was really kind and helpful with us! Suggested!!!

Thanks for the rating, the description doesn't say anywhere that we have shampoo, the bungalows have liquid soap, toilet paper and a hairdryer, but you won't get toothpaste in 5-star hotels.

Verified reviewLoved this accommodation so much that we have to come back to stay here again. Jasmine the sweetest lady helped us with all her heart. Comfortable room with clean bedding, towels and slippers too. We had no issues with the room temperature or any thing else. Our flight was in the afternoon. Jasmine allowed us to leave our luggages in the property for our convenience. She’s such a diamond!

Verified reviewThe whole bungalow is an art. We stayed at a wooden cabin with bunk beds, separate wc and shower which was really handy. And oh! Our dear Jasmin!! This sweet lady took care of us with all her heart. She was super helpful and supportive throughout our stay. She’s always smiling and welcoming. Such a sweetheart! The night view from the bungalow is awesome! There’s a shed with picnic table to enjoy your leisure. And the car park is really secured. Highly recommended.

Verified reviewThe only thing I liked in the bungolow was the polite behaviour of Ms Ysemin.
The location was far from the bazaar and transport was very difficult. The interior design of the bungalow was impractical. It was very cold at night. There was a lot of noise due to the kilinali heating. Noise came from other guests. The duvets were very bad. No sheets. There is no kitchen. There was no internet. The bedding is very bad. I can't recommend it. It was the biggest disappointment for me here.
I think that the problem is with the Turkish people and not with our accommodation, unfortunately, everyone is welcome, but let this review be your guide not to come to us from Turkey, because out of the 5 negative reviews we have, all 5 are from Turks, so it is the best for us not to come, and it seems that our accommodation does not suit you either

Verified reviewGreat value for money, great communication from host and was immediately welcomed upon arrival, The short walk to the market was gratefully appreciated along with the private secure parking. Ps. If driving, Google maps can give strange directions to the bungalows (mistaking stairs for roads) so double check your route! Overall I would highly recommend it to those who are looking for a cheap one night stay or people who are planning to mostly eat out and explore the super interesting city :)

Verified reviewclose to old city, easy to walk to local attractions. simple room, just what's needed for sleeping/keeping luggage whilst exploring.
alot of steps if you are near the top so need to be careful if you have young children. roads around area are are very tight to drive around, best to walk.
