- very friendly and helpfull staff - location in the city center, in the near of the cathedral - very clean rooms - although the hotel was on a very busy street, you didn’t notice it in the hotel, and you could sleep at night without any noise - well equipped gym - we got an free upgrade for the suit, which was just perfect for our stay! A big room and bathroom and even a terrace which was great for our stay in august during the warm summer days!

Gym opening hours, especially on weekends (10-20). Swimming pool water was one day cold, the other day warm. Breakfast could be have more versality.

Hotel is not in "first youth", but location is very good - in a city centre, close to tram lines, buses, and 2 taxi stands. The main street is loud at night (night bars), but on the 2nd floor it was almost unnoticeable (A.C on, windows closed). Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet could be bigger and warmer. Hotel has nice pool with saunas and a very large gym. Opening hours could be more elastic.

The first day of breakfast wasn’t sufficient especially for the children because the fries were too dry to be eaten and I asked for Nutella because the bowl was empty but I was directed to get the local one. There were hot foods which weren’t refilled even if there was still time for breakfast. Only 1 elevator is working and filled with mosquitoes the 2nd day.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating even those in the Spa. The second day for breakfast wasn’t sufficient especially good because they refilled.

The rooms are tired and poorly laid out, but have new bathrooms. Staff are great, but it is VERY load as it is right next to a bar that has a street party until close to midnight.

The location is central and there is a good gym.

Not sure why but there is no ketchup or mustard at the breakfast. I just couldn't find it (but I did not ask staff...) More importantly, many things show some wear and tear, it is manageable, but there are some switches that do not work, bathroom mirror lights, windows that don't work completely, shower that is leaking... Body lotion in rooms would be nice besides shampoo. Hotel has possibility of gym and pool/sauna, but information about these to make it easier for guest is missing. It's more like "We have pool." but without details where is it, how to get there, where is the changing area etc. I had room on 6th floor, there are doors that say "Swimming pool" on them with an arrow, but the pool is actually under the hotel, 6 floors down a staircase. Not the end of the world, but quite confusing at first. Largest issue was, my room was a suite with bed above, in upper area of the room. There was AC but it was not functioning very well, while the bottom floor was a fridge, top part was still hot, so sleeping was uncomfortable during hot nights. Staff was proactive (big + for that), tried to resolve the issue by a stationary fan, but it did not help much. I would stay here again however, as I would know next time what to expect and how to "move around".

Location is just great, indeed close to everything. Another great benefit is the swimming pool and saunas, really enjoyed those, even though time took a bite from their former glory. Staff shown high level of willingness to help. Internet was stable and worked okay for general use. There is also a gym which I did not use, but I checked it out, looked really well equipped.

Our initial room was on the two levels. Air condition was not able to cool the top level and there was no window to open. As a result it was a true sauna, avoid this room if you are in Sarajevo during summer hot days. The front desk was accommodating and changed to room to our liking.

I was thoroughly impressed by the hotel. Nestled right in the city center, just steps from the Old Town and Sarajevo Cathedral, this hotel offers the perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and rejuvenation. As we were in Sarajevo when it was 35C we saw air conditioning in the rooms and the indoor pool as gems. Pool was perfect for a morning swim or a relaxing float after a day of sightseeing. And the fact that all these amenities are complimentary for guests is a huge bonus. Rooms are modern, spacious, and very comfortable, with some offering charming balconies. The breakfast buffet was ok. Could be better, but it was fresh and varied. What truly elevated the experience was the incredible staff. From the front desk to the spa and wellness team, everyone was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. They went out of their way to make sure every guest felt welcome and well cared for, which made a big difference in the overall experience. If you're visiting Sarajevo and want a hotel that combines central location with top-tier wellness and fitness offerings, Hotel Central is the place to be. I’ll definitely be returning!

-hotel is on street with lots of bars so if you wanted quiet maybe stay a bit further away from city centre -rooms are a bit old

This hotel is dry, no alcohol. Not a problem though as there are plenty of bars around the hotel, they don't mind you drinking but just not in the hotel.

The location of this hotel is very good. Very close to everything you will want to see, including Latin Bridge (2 min walk), Franz Ferdinand Museum (2 min walk), Museum of Genocide and War Crimes (3 min walk), Bascarsija/old town (3 min walk), Cable Car (5-10 min walk).

We only had one hand towel and 3 pillows between the two of us which seemed slightly odd. Didn't seem to be pool towels for guests to take to the swimming pool.

Location is in the heart of Sarajevo. The swimming pool was fantastic and much needed after a day of sightseeing. Room was very comfortable. We were kindly given a slightly later check out due to our flight being later in the day.

Its very expensive for the quality. The spa has most of the things broken and water cold. The room had two floors and the light to go Up to the place where the bed was was broken Breakfast wasnt good
