The the room was clean, the breakfast was good, and the staff at the reception desk were exceptionally helpful.

We had a lot of trouble with the door card. It was a bit eccentric, different from others I had used, and we had to ask a (very helpful) member of the cleaning staff to show us how to use it. We helped another person on the same floor later, as he was also having trouble.

Staff members were good, courtesy and friendly.

First of all, bath shower and moquette must be cleaned. Mattress was old and pillows are to change completely. We booked and paid two rooms with queen bed. A message from the hotel said… thanks for choosing…. bla bla bla, but we don’t have queen bed available but two twin beds. Thanks for consideration… Then, after our request they modified the twin beds in queen beds. Breakfast has been good, there wasn’t sweet food, like croissants and cakes.

The staff were friendly and has a parking. Room size was perfect and plenty space your stay.

The hotel is old and obviously not enough investment to upgrade it. There were lot of strains in corridor carpet that has not been cleaned. The room was only a bed, tv, chair & desk and a wardrobe. There is not even paper tissue or bin in the room. Only toilet papers in bathroom and bin there. There were some dust on the decoration on the room that shows it has not been cleaned properly. Thebathroom had molds and strange pattern on in shower that keeps the water and prevents it from being dried off. I beleive it had to be installed 90 degree. The hotel needs a deep cleaning and renovation to become perfect.

The room is spacious (but unfortunately, that is the only good thing about it). Breakfast is excellent. Parking is provided in the garage. The location is fine, but you will still need to walk a bit to reach the shopping centers, and especially the old town.

FAR FROM WHAT YOU’D EXPECT IN A FOUR-STAR HOTEL We were greeted with torn bed linen, and when we asked for it to be changed, we received damp sheets, which again had to be replaced. At first, the housekeeper apologized, but after our second request she became rude, and afterwards stopped greeting us altogether. The reception staff is professional only to the extent of giving you basic information – parking, breakfast times, etc. None of our complaints were taken seriously or handled properly (except when they absolutely had to, for example bringing us clean towels when there were none). Upon check-out we didn’t even get a fake apology. The housekeeping staff is another story – they don’t greet guests, shout in the hallways right next to the rooms, swear, etc. The hotel seriously needs to improve cleanliness: in the bathroom we found slippery stains by the sink; next to the bed, under the nightstand, there was dust and crumbs (you have to move the nightstand to access the outlet); there were also stains on the sheets. Dust in visible spots above the bed and under the TV hadn’t been cleaned in days. On the second day, the room wasn’t cleaned at all – nothing was touched. Some used towels were taken away, others weren’t, and no fresh towels for showering were provided. When booking the room, you can choose the type of bed – we chose a large double bed, but it was actually just two poorly joined single beds. The mattresses were of different heights, one sagging on the side, and they weren’t properly connected, making the “large double” bed very uncomfortable. After a ten-day seaside holiday, sleeping on this bed completely ruined me. There is no minibar fridge in the room (allegedly “to save electricity and protect the environment 🧐”). Instead, you need to call reception, which is impractical and makes you give up on the idea of having a drink altogether. Also, there is no kettle and not even basic glasses to drink water from (and this is a four-star hotel!).

It’s a bit further from the center but the room was good and clean, we didn’t hear any noise, the breakfast was surprisingly good (even with vegan options). Good value for money!

Close to old town, about a 15/20 minute walk, very nice walk, or a 5 minute taxi journey. Very nice staff too

Could have more facilities, gym isn’t included, etc etc - but if you’re just using it for a base then it’s perfect.
