Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomWe had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Eleven. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. When we requested a room change, management handled it promptly and with such professionalism—it was seamless and truly appreciated. The location could not have been better—right in the heart of the Old Town, with everything we needed just steps away. The hotel itself is immaculately clean. The beds were cloud-like. The bathroom shower was amazing, especially after a long day exploring the city. Breakfast was excellent, with a great selection. Having coffee and tea on tap throughout the day was a great touch. Asmir went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs, making us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. His professionalism and customer service were 5 star. An all round great human being. It’s rare to find a place that combines outstanding hospitality with such a high standard of cleanliness, comfort, and convenience, but Hotel Eleven delivers on every level. We can’t recommend this hotel highly enough and will definitely be returning on our next visit to Sarajevo!

SlovakiaAlthough the WiFi is fast at the main areas of the hotel, the signal is weak in rooms which are on the side of the building. My room actually didn't have any proper connection, so it was unusuable. Hotel offered to place an extender during my stay, however that didn't happen. The breakfast was on lower end for a 4star hotel. The selection was medium but the restaurant section is a very small room without any windows, not the best breakfast experience overall, you feel like being in a hospital waiting room, no music as it is common with other hotels. I think a little bit more flowers, some music or a bigger room with windows would make the experience much better.
The hotel is in a convenient location in the city center, you can expect quick checkin process due to the small size of the hotel. The rooms are very clean and modern.

United StatesWe had an absolutely amazing stay! The hotel’s location couldn’t be more perfect—everything we needed was just a short walk or ride away. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, especially Asmir, who shared so many fantastic local recommendations that truly made our trip unforgettable. Breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning from 7–10am, and having parking available made everything so convenient. They also partner with Paya Taxi, a reliable and professional taxi service that made getting around a breeze. From start to finish, this was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Highly recommended!

Saudi ArabiaThe parking situation is inconvenient. It requires a prior reservation, and there are only about four spots available. Only two of them are directly in front of the hotel, while the remaining two are about a 2-minute walk away. Additionally, there is a risk that someone who is not a hotel guest might take your reserved parking spot.
The hotel is newly built in 2025 and is very clean. Its location is excellent, right in the heart of the old town. The breakfast is acceptable and provides a good start to the day.

Saudi ArabiaLittle bit high price but the service is excellent so its ok.
Friendly staff, perfect location and the rooms very nice decorated with high ceiling and modern white vibes very comfy and clean as well as quiet despite being in the heart of the down town which is great. There is one guy in the reception always smiling and helping made our first impression of bosnia quite positive. Aldo I asked for an iron before arriving and found it in the room upon arrival which was awesome service. Thank you.

United KingdomThere are places that stay in your heart — and Hotel Eleven in Sarajevo is one of them. From the very first moment you enter this warm, cozy space, you realize this is not just a hotel — it's a place created with love, care, and intelligence. It's a small, boutique-style hotel, and that's exactly what makes it special: everything has been thoughtfully designed to make the guest feel seen, valued, and comfortable. The heart of this hotel is Elena, the team leader — a woman with amazing charm, attentiveness, and a natural gift for hospitality. Because of her and the entire staff, you feel more like you're visiting kind friends than simply staying at a hotel. The breakfast is exceptional — rich, fresh, delicious, with everything you could possibly want. And the fact that you can always enjoy a cup of coffee and a cookie throughout the day might seem like a small thing, but it’s actually a sign of true care. This isn’t just service — this is heartfelt hospitality. The staff, from the cleaning lady to the manager, are all extraordinarily polite, respectful, and kind. I even had the chance to meet the owner — a wonderful, thoughtful man, clearly someone who has put not only investment into this place, but heart and soul. The rooms are new, fresh, and designed with real intelligence. Every detail — the lighting, the sockets, the furniture, the amenities — is there to make the guest’s stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. You can tell that every centimeter of space was carefully considered. The location is absolutely perfect — right in the city center, but surprisingly peaceful and quiet. At night, you sleep in total silence, as if you're far from the hustle and bustle. Cleanliness is impeccable — daily housekeeping is done to the highest standard. The bed and mattress are large, new, and incredibly comfortable — after a long day of exploring Sarajevo, falling asleep here is a real treat.

JordanSmall and cozy hotel with just 11 rooms, I found it positive point although some people might not consider the same feeling towards small hotels.
Outstanding location in downtown center, just 50 meters away from tram station, new furniture, family oriented, kind and personal service from all staff and the manager, you feel at your house.

Czech RepublicWe were first guests at this hotel. Everything was ready on the rank A1* :-) Hotel right in the middle of the city. Friendly and professional staff, room was clean, we have fresh new water and sweet apples every day at our room. Breakfasts were great, every day Mr. or Mrs. receptionist asks us if everything is ok, this is very pleasant from them. In a case of next visit Sarajevo, we have right choice to accomodation.

United StatesSince rooms have large white walls, a few art pieces would make it really enjoyable.
Brand new hotel, only 11 rooms (hence the name). Well appointed and fully functional. A/C easily adjustable and efficient. Very high ceilings. Smack dab in the city center, only 5-10 minutes walk from most attractions. Nice breakfast buffet, well-stocked mini bar, and very friendly staff.
