Great location and cheap!

First of all, it took us a few hours just to check in and the host did not answer. The private room was okay for the price but the bathroom was awful and not nice at all. It was dirty and very nasty, if you stay here bring inside shoes!!! And also the kitchen smelled bad and it was dishes from other guests. The ”living room” was a joke! I have stayed at a lot of hostels but this one was one of the worst! Would not recommend!

Bathroom floor was wet all the time and it had a disgusting carpet. Only one key for the room. Bad english. It took an hour to check-in, even when we told when we are coming in advance.

The hostel is located in the city center where you can access everything and explore many places.. The host is a very nice man. Beds are clean and you can get the balcony in your room and that's really amazing. It is the best option in Sarajevo. Overall everything is great ❤️

There was not enough bathrooms for the amount of guests so you were always waiting for a spot. The bathrooms themselves could use a good cleaning and general maintenance.

Nothing

The hostel uses (not hires) foreign workers without valid visas. They are sleeping with guests. A man from Africa, who is controlling beds, has stolen 105 euros (50 euro bills ×2 and 5 euro bills ×1) from my wallet when I was taking a shower. He was sleeping over me and others were not in our room.

Good location

Bed sheet was super old and pilling. Only two bathrooms shared by probably 20 guests. A young lady is there for check in most of the time and I believe she tried her best to keep the place clean but the owners don’t seem to be willing to invest to improve the situation. The house door is never locked and as far as I saw, neither do the doors of the shared rooms. While I think the city is safe, we found the door of the private room I booked locked from inside when the lady tried to show me my room upon arrival. It turned out that one guest who booked a bed in a shared room just decided to rest in a vacant room. The place needs better management. And in reality they only accept cash while their property information says they accept credit card (they don’t actually own a POS machine).

Whether it's the location, the accommodation environment, or the service attitude, everything is extremely excellent! Recommendation

Honestly if i went back to Sarajevo i would definitely not stay here. the place lacks cleaning and the front door doesn’t close and the window of my bedroom was broken (we slept on the ground floor). The staff is not really professional and they don’t care at all about the guests neededs.

The bedrooms were spacious, clean and comfortable and the location was close to the old town and very close to the cable car, also close to all the public transport to get around the city. The staff member who was there to clean each day was very friendly and helpful.

The hostel needed a lot of repairs and attention. There were no lockers, the front door was always wide open and the ground floor balcony door was broken so you couldn't close it, you also couldn't lock the bedrooms so for me it didn’t feel secure at all as anyone could walk in at any time, however this might not be an issue for everyone. There are two kitchens which are usable but not super clean and not well maintained and there is no dining table. The downstairs bathroom had a bath but no shower curtain so if anyone took a shower there the floor would be completely flooded. I also didn’t find it to be very clean but i want to stress that this is not the fault of the cleaner, she cleaned up throughly each day and was very friendly and helpful, it's more that the hostel itself needs a lot of maintenance and the guests didn’t respect it well. The bathroom door handle kept falling off, the light switch in the bedroom was broken, as was the balcony door and the cupboards in the kitchen needed maintenance as it was hard to open drawers etc and i could only find one set of cutlery in the whole place. There were also a lot of discarded items in the hallway, it came across like the owners probably didn’t visit much and just kind of left stuff there. Overall it was fine, good enough for a couple of days and it was cheap. I wouldn't stay there again based on it not being secure and all of the repairs that were needed. I can definitely deal with basic but for me it should be maintained better. I think after some attention it would be much better :-) i would never wish to negatively affect someone's business so my intention is to be constructive rather than negative!

One of the beds was comfortable and the other OK. The neighborhood is quiet and close to the historical center. There is a kitchen on each floor.

The room does not have air conditioning and only one window. Under the bed and on the window shade was very dusty. The bathroom toilet leaks into the wall and there is a strong odor due to this. The bathtub drains onto the floor. There are two single use bathrooms for 10-20 guests. The kitchen was messy, dishes were partially cleaned and not organized. The social atmosphere of the place is poor/odd. Several guests did repulsive things in communal areas. No sense of how to share common space.

It was cheap. I got a private room for a very good price. Compared to other options in Sarajevo's city center, this hostels offers the most competitive prices.

There is no reception. You'll need to call someone and wait for them to come and let you in. There are only two bathrooms, one on each floor for the whole hostel; you can expect to wait long before you go in to do your thing if there are many guests. You cannot have a quiet sleep even in the private rooms as there is no sound insulation in any shape or form. Finally, if cleanliness is your priority, this is not going to be your choice.

The owner was very friendly, and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioner worked properly, ensuring a pleasant stay. However, there was no hand washing liquid, and the bathroom could have been cleaner.
