Our stay at Green Gate Apartments in Sarajevo was absolutely perfect. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully equipped, with everything we needed to feel at home. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from the old town, yet quiet and peaceful. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, going out of their way to make sure everything ran smoothly. We truly felt welcomed and cared for. A charming place that made our time in Sarajevo unforgettable—highly recommended!

Amazing place that is close to the city centre. The place gives home feeling vibes. Host lives nearby and is really helpful - Aida gave us a lot of nice tips what to see or try to eat.

The apartment is beautiful and well located, very close to the center but in a small street, very quiet. And Aida and her husband are lovely, the city is also amazing.

The apartment is absolutely lovely with a beautiful terrace, but what truly makes this place special are the hosts. They’re incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful. And their pets are adorable!

Very friendly hosts, they helped us find shops, restaurants, and helped us with parking even after check-out. The rooms are cozy, clean, they have everything you need for a trip, and the terrace is very nice and has a wonderful view. I recommend these apartments.

Cosy private room in a separate small house with a balcony with a fantastic view over the surrounding hills and their lovely garden. It was close to the old center just 5 minutes walk uphills from the main square. The host Aida and her husband gave a warm welcome and tips for the stay in Sarajevo. They also invited us for coffee and even a homebaked baklava so they couldn’t be nicer. Also arranged taxi to the airport and made sure we were picked up in time.

If you are visiting Sarajevo, this is the place you want to stay at! Aida and Elvedin are warmhearted and kind people who will elevate your stay in Sarajevo to the next level. They are both born and raised in Sarajevo so make sure to ask them all about the city and its history. They will happily share their stories from and knowledge about the city. As for the apartments they are extremly clean and have a true bosnian feel to them. The view over the city is truly mezmerising and the Old Town is a couple minutes away. The garage parking was great for my big Opel Vectra. I have already booked my next stay at Green Gate Apartments!

The hosts were very flexible with my arrival time and gave great advice for what to do and see in the city.

Aida and Edo were incredibly caring and helpful hosts with lots of information about Sarajevo. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The shared terrace had a beautiful view, perfect place for a Bosnian coffee. Bonus was Pasa the dog and Freckan the cat (wrong spelling probably). We enjoyed the walk down the hill into town which was very close. Aida was very accommodating when we had to change our travel plans unexpectedly. Thank you for such a memorable and welcoming time in Sarajevo, we hope to return one day in the future.

Superb location, 10min walk from the center. Lovely hosts that were willing to answer all our questions. If needed there is private parking.

My staying at Green Gate has been very pleasant and cozy. The hosts (Aida and Edo) are amazing: super kind and willing to help in any possible way. The apartament is in a very quiet area, 10 minutes walk from the main square. Don't be scared by the uphill road: it is a good way to give oxygen to your blood. The room was neat, clean and cozy and there's also a very cute common resting area with a nice vew on the city.

I thought a lot about what I didn't like but I coudln't find anything. All is good!
