From Baščaršija to the apartment, you need to walk 10 minutes uphill.

The apartment is very big and has everything you need. The owners are very kind and helpful. There was even beer and ice cream waiting for us in the apartment. Of course, everything needed for cooking was also there. The owners also brought us fresh fruit and vegetables from their garden. It was really a very pleasant stay.

Not a negative, A warning: if you're driving, Google maps sent me through tiny back streets to get here. That is not necessary, it is possible to drive on roads with 2+ lanes the whole way which is how google instructed me to leave.

The apartment is comfortable and spacious and has everything one could need. The hostess is so kind, she even brought grapes and tomatoes for me to enjoy. The view from the apartment is great. It is in a relatively quiet area. The walk to the center is not far. There is parking, which was very much appreciated. I also really appreciated the washing machine and a good place to hang clothes to dry. If I visit Sarajevo again, I would definitely like to stay here again!

Everything is fantastic.Alema helps me a lot.She called a taxi for me from the airport to the apartment.It's cheaper and convenient.And left some fresh tomatoes out of the door.When I check out, she also prepared a surprise gift for me. That's so sweet. If I come back to Sarajevo, I will choose her apartment again.

The flat is up a steep hill which was a bit of a slog on a hot day. However, it's absolutely worth it for the views.

Often when a property has a very high score, you feel a bit let down when you arrive as it doesn't reflect what you saw in the photos or read in the reviews. This is absolutely not the case here. We really did get fresh flowers in a vase and beer in the fridge. It's one of the few places where we found ourselves saying "let's go home" rather than "let's go back to the apartment". I can give no better review than that. This is a fantastic place to stay in this beautiful and fascinating city.

Alema and family were great hosts. She met me at Hotel Aziza to walk me to the apartment. The apartment is huge. Separate bedroom, living room, kitchen, and bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee, teas, cereal, muesli and more. Two large bottles of water, a beer, and rakiya were provided. The air conditioning in the living room worked well. The apartment is very nicely decorated with the hedgehog theme. The view from the terrace is beautiful. The washing machine was a great feature. Laundry detergent for whites or dark clothes was provided. Plenty of hot water in the shower and good water pressure. A great selection of shampoos and shower gels were provided. If you don’t feel like walking back uphill from Old Town, there is a bus that stops just above the property.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Hedgehog’s Home in beautiful Sarajevo. The apartment was impeccably well appointed, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home—from milk for my morning coffee and honey for my tea, to a washcloth and a slip mat in the shower. Every comfort was considered. One of my favorite features was the balcony, which offered a lovely view and the perfect spot to unwind. The space was warm, cozy, and filled with small details that showed genuine care. Be sure to read the story of Hedgehog—you’ll find the book thoughtfully placed on the coffee table. It adds a charming layer of meaning to the whole experience. Jezeva, the hostess, was equally delightful. She even dropped off fresh strawberries at my door—a sweet and personal gesture that truly set this stay apart. I can’t recommend Hedgehog’s Home enough for anyone visiting Sarajevo. It’s a peaceful retreat with a personal touch in a stunning city.

The apartment is so cozy and decorated beautifully. It has everything you need. The bed is super comfortable. The host is attentive and friendly, she helped me schedule a taxi to the airport on my last day. The location is walking distance to the old town.

Such a cosy apartment, it’s very peaceful and there’s so much natural sunlight. The perfect place to relax and explore Sarajevo, just a 10 minute walk into the centre. The owners are lovely and welcoming. The property had everything I needed including a washing machine. Plenty of space and a balcony with a clothes airer. Really comfortable place, totally recommend, I didn’t want to leave!

The large glass Windows of the room allow us to enjoy the natural beauty of the garden, the lines of the distant mountains, the touching of the starry sky... Two big apple trees full of fruit, hydrangeas, grass are lovely! The hostess was elegant, friendly and very thoughtful about the room facilities, especially the use of the kitchen. Help us book a taxi, walk us to the taxi, make it convenient for us. The rooms are immaculately clean, well appointed, comfortable and beautiful. Small bric-a-brac fabric small hedgehog and other interesting, slippers are also placed in a lovely small basket inside, too beautiful.

I can’t think of anything. Everything was perfect.

Nice location with view over the city. The owner is super friendly and welcoming. We felt at home! There is a private parking and a nice little garden. You can see that the owner thinks about all the little details to make you enjoy your stay as much as possible.

There was nothing we didn't like. Just that we had to leave after two nights :).

The apartment was spotless, very well-equipped and felt like home. We wish we could stay longer and we would definitely pick the same place if we arrived next time! Very close to the city center, easy to park the car and very good for a child as far the apartment is with garden access and full of interesting toys, games and books.

The lady waited for us, handed over the keys and showed us the apartment. The apartment is in her house. Parking 30m from the house, where nothing drives - end of the street. Very quiet place, the rooms face the garden. The apartment is clean and very well equipped. Coffee, tea available, the kitchen is great. Send a good one. The apartment is on the first floor. We used the washing machine, laundry can be dried outside or on the dryer inside. Super location Small shop and pizza are 5 min walk down the hill. It is a short walk to the old town "Vratnik". 7 minutes on foot to the beautiful location "Bascarsija", where you can enjoy restaurants and shops. I definitely recommend it.

Hedgehog Home was the most gorgeous and wonderful accommodation I've ever stayed in when travelling. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, safe and has the most beautiful views of the city you could ever dream of. There is strong wifi, hot water, heating and air con. I adore Sarajevo and have stayed in a few great places here, but this is the best and will definitely return. It was difficult saying goodbye! The owners are absolutely lovely and exceptionally kind and hospitable. The apartment has lots of character and charm and is immaculately clean. The kitchen is well equipped and there were toiletries and plenty of blankets and towels, tea and coffee. There was even fresh juice and water in the fridge for my arrival. I was travelling alone but there is more than enough room here for a family and the location is perfect for the old town and other attractions. The owners are there for anything you need but totally respect your space too. I really didn't want to leave! If you are reading this and unsure about booking this place, I would say, just do it, you definitely won't be disappointed!
