Wonderful stay! Perfect hospitality. Very close to the old town

The hotel is very close to old town and although parking was limited, the staff was very helpful to make sure we got a spot. The room was kept cool prior to our arrival which was nice. It was a large room and the bathroom and shower were amazing. Everything was clean and perfect for our stay. The staff even noticed it was my birthday. They were wonderful. Breakfast was good.

I’m not sure what the deal is with the countries in this area, but the beds are all really stiff/firm. We were tired so slept ok. It is just not what we are used to. Still can’t complain. Great hotel. We would stay here again.

The hotel was small with 3 floors and possibly 4 rooms on each floor, some were apartments so more than one room in each like mine. 2 rooms for 4 people within one room apartment.

They don’t change beddings or clean/make up the room everyday. You probably have to ask. We were there only 3 days so didn’t really care. Also, we were hardly at the hotel to make a mess. Saying that, we would’ve liked to have our towels changed. Then again, you probably have to leave it in the shower or tell them to change. Didn’t see any information for it.

View of the bridge was amazing. Staff were really nice and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. Rooms were spacious.

Staff & good location

The staff were incredible and the location was excellent.

The price was for a 5 star hotel but you get around 2 to a stretch 3 star star is what you get.

The staff were genuinely kind and thoughtful. On my last day, I came down after breakfast had ended, and instead of turning me away, the receptionist kindly offered me coffee and made it herself. Later, another lady offered to prepare food just for me. They constantly checked if I was comfortable and needed anything, always with a smile. The location is perfect — just a few steps from the Old Bridge and the beautiful riverside. Everything was close and walkable. The entire experience felt warm, safe, and welcoming.

Nothing to complain about. Everything was smooth and exceeded my expectations.

Great location and the lady at the reception went above and beyond helping us and being so kind and friendly. Breakfast was lovely too. Would defo return and highly recommend.

Location was close to all major attractions. Wi-fi was good. Breakfast was okay , nothin excellent about it. Indira at the reception was very friendly and had a helpful mentality.

Air condition was not as cool as expected , we couldn't adjust on our own , had to keep asking help from staff , who were helpful to come over to fix it.

Located very near to the Crooked Bridge and old town. It was not a room but suite. Very comfortable indeed. The reception staff were Vry polite, courteous and friendly. Since we were leaving very early in the morning, the management provided us with packed breakfasts .

The location is unbeatable. 100 meters from the bridge that can be seen from the window. Absolutely wonderful, both day and night. Very spacious, clean and bright room. Very good mattresses and fine bedding. 4 star + amenities. Cooler, coffee/tea in the room. The air conditioning worked flawlessly. The perfect breakfast to start a new day. The entire staff was very hospitable, polite and kind. A place where I would return anytime with pleasure!

Hotel Kapetanovina may be a 3-star hotel on paper, but it punches well above its weight. Rooms were spotless, with clean bedsheets and a perfectly working shower and bathroom — exactly what you want after a day exploring Mostar. Breakfast was more than decent, and honestly, for Mostar, this is one of the best options around. Special shoutout to Indira at the reception — not sure why she has an Indian name, but she was amazing! Super helpful and seemed to run the whole place like a pro. Great value, great location, great stay. No free parking, street parking is hit and miss but there is a paid parking lot nearby.

A very fine hotel with a superb location near a grocery store and very close to the old section and the Ottoman bridge. The staff at the reception were kind, efficient and very helpful. We had a room with a sitting area with a balcony which was an excellent choice for our 4 night stay. Mostar itself is a fantastic place to spend a few nights since the overwhelming amount of people visiting are there on a day tour, thus, the morning and afternoons are sparsely populated. I would definitely recommend this hotel especially the room with a sitting area and balcony.

For such a nice hotel they need to buy new pillows.
