How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Tha matrace was totally soft, uncomfortable, when we laydown, we felt like fall into the foam, really makes out experience negative, the other thing - the apartment was upstairs, without aircondition, in summer nights not a good deal
Location was perfect, staff as well

The location was close to the centre of Jajce and an easy walk to the waterfall and the fortress. There is a supermarket on the opposite side of the road. There is plenty of free car parking, shared kitchen, friendly staff and a comfy bed.

Bed was too short.My wife and I are 172cm and 162cm and our feet were touching the end of the bed which made the bed not very comfy. Also internet was intermittent to poor.
The location and room were good. Just ten minutes to the sites and restaurants. Room was large and good value for money.

Only one bathroom +toilet for whole dormitory. The kitchen is not equipped, so you cannot prepare much.
I liked the location - short walking distance to downtown, opposite to a shopping mall/ supermarket, so it was easy to get food. I liked that the dormitory had single beds, not bunk beds.

Older building even though the rooms are renovated, it does not have great sound insulation.
For the price, it is a nice stay. Clean and simple. Staff is friendly.

The location is great, it is close to the city center, and the hypermarket is just across the street. It is nice, clean, quiet, and comfy. I would definitely recommend this place.

No lockers. Kitchen was very basic - fridge and kettle, so not really a place you can actually cook anything.
Dorm was was single beds, not bunk beds, that was good. Short walk to the town. Quiet.

The bathroom is really small and not the best, but its Ok. You cannot cook in the kitchen.
Excellent location, good wifi. Bed was comfortable. Close to everything. A huge supermarket in front of it is very useful.

No aircon in our room so it was quite hot inside the room, though there was a fan which helped us to sleep. There are plenty of windows, however we were worried about opening them in case mosquitoes came in as there are no fly screens on the windows. The location was a little of out of the town, but tbh Jajce is quite small so everything is walkable
The room was very spacious, I think we were even given a bigger room than what we had booked. Plenty of free parking behind the property. Very affordable price. It wasn’t anything spectacular, but for the price you can’t ask for me. Would stay again

The kitchen could be better equipped. There are 2 fridges and a kettle, but no stove/oven/microwave oven. So if you want to make a hot meal, you can’t. And no towels or a piece of cloth. Also, the staff smokes in the kitchen even though there’s a “no smoking” sign. :( The bed was a little too soft for my liking.
The location is excellent: a 10-min walk from the city center and next to a hypermarket. The bus station is also easily accessible on foot. And the view is amazing! The room was clean and quite comfortable. The shower was great!

This is a simple hostel accommodation, close to everything in Jajce, some 15 minutes walking from the bus station. The place was clean and there was also a kitchen for making tea or coffee. Some 50 meters away there is BINGO (supermarket) where you can buy everything you need. You should not forget to go to the mills, some 4 km away, around 40 minutes walking along the river with many waterfalls.
