It was a great location looking down at the town. A great place to have some time to yourself and relax. Nina was a great host, full of energy.

Nina was really kind and chill lady. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the location is very good. I think Nina's house is the best value for accomodation in Sarajevo. If I visit Sarajevo again, I will definitely stay in Nina's house. Thank you Nina!

The house is very well situated, close to the old town and to the mountain aswell. We were comfortable there and slept like babies. On the balcony we had an amazing view which we could not get tired of. And most importantly Nina is an exceptional person which whom we had great conversations and shared life story's. We can recommand this place to everyone with all our heart! Thank you Nina for having us❤️ vidimo se!

    Absolutely nothing

I arrived at midnight due to my bus being late, and the host Nina was terrifying as soon as she opened the door until I left in the morning, extremely aggressive and seemed to be under the influence of strong drugs, this obviously made me very anxious but luckily there were 2 other guests that arrived shortly after me and reassured me by knocking on my door that although Nina was very uncomfortable, they were in the next room. In addition to this the house smelt so strong of smoke it made me feel sick, it was also loud during the night with outside noise, I would definitely not recommend.

Great location, a 20 minute walk from the old town. Nina's friendly and gives good advice about local stuff. She's travelled around and knows Sarajevo well. I felt right at home in the area, a real Bosnian community with friendly people.

Nina is a very kind, friendly, and helpful person. She gave us guidebooks and a map of Sarajevo and gave us tips on what to see in Sarajevo. The apartment was very clean and located near the old part of the city. The balcony had a beautiful view of Sarajevo and the mountains. We highly recommend it! :)

    Everything was OK!

I liked everything about my week-long stay at Nina 1. The description of the place is accurate. It is a basic bedroom (no A/C, but a fan) with a shared bathroom and shared kitchenette. Because the other guests were respectful of the shared spaces, everything was great. Plus, the host (Nina) is very thorough about cleaning. If you approach this booking as a homestay (in other words, having respect for the host's personal home), then I think you will come with the correct attitude and expectations. The location of the house is half-way up a steep hill. I took a taxi from the airport, which I recommend to anyone staying here, unless your luggage is not heavy. As a 55 year-old guest, I liked the exercise from walking up and down the hill/mountain (10-15 minutes to the center of old town), but guests who have mobility challenges or guests who are not accustomed to hiking steep inclines might need to find a place lower down the hills. I felt comfortable and safe in Nina's home. I enjoyed our conversations and I feel like I now have a friend in Sarajevo. Her hospitality was top notch!
