Expensive but it was a splurge for us

The property is delightfully located about a 15-20 minute walk from the historic centre of Sarajevo. It has a beautiful view over the city. The room we stayed in is magnificent with a beautiful balcony, large bedroom and well appointed bathroom. The staff looked after us beautifully.

Exceptional service! The staff was extremely friendly. When we left, they even accomadated transport to the railwaystation! Room was really nice! When we needed laundry done, they even arranged for that - for free! Excellent!

Was a bit far from the city, but then again the panorama view made it worthwhile :)

We had two rooms for two families on 28th of December it was our baby's 2nd birthday and we planned to celebrate it at the hotel restaurant, we made a reservation at the restaurant on the top floor but when we went to the restaurant in the evening, we saw that a table was reserved for us in front of the kitchen, downstairs because all the tables were reserved upstairs. we explained the situation and said that we made reservation days before but they didn’t help us even though we were also hotel guests. a very special night for us was ruined because of the irresponsibility of the person who took the reservation. Kibe is a place that I never want to hear the name of anymore. Also the hotel rooms which are not cheap at all, did not have slippers or a mini bar, slippers were not provided despite our request. Kibe was a big disappointment for us.

Such a lovely and well preserved place that makes you feel the essence of Bosnian culture. Our room "Behka" was luxurious and comfortable with a fantastic view over the city. The staff was lovely and easy to reach whenever needed.

Everything was perfect

The room was large and cosy, very beautiful, one of the nicest we have ever been to. The bed was 180 cm, so comfortable to sleep for both of us. The location - it was on a hill so had great views. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise - it was not included into the room rate, but it exceeded our expectations by far. The room was always nicely tidied. Staff were super friendly and helpful. What we liked a lot is how air conditioner was not as usual on a wall where it blows directly cold air, but it was next to a radiator enclosed in a wooden furniture and very quiet.

Bathroom doors were more or less see-through glass. For a single person it would have been fine, but for a couple it was a little unusual, at least for us. Onsite, there is a popular restaurant which closes at 23:00, so until then it's quite noisy, but after 23:00 it gets very quiet. The restaurant is closed on Sundays, so on the one hand it's a quiet evening, on the other hand - no breakfast available. What would have been nice to have in the room is an electrical kettle and cups.

Staff very professional, but very welcoming and friendly, great asset for owners. Breakfast was excellent, with Bosnian flair. Presentation and cleanliness top notch. Live Bosnian music during dinner time also unforgettable.

Very nice location with view over Sarajevo, beautiful and cozy room with everything you might need, cozy furnishing, comfortable large kingsize bed, large TV with Internet-access and screen-mirroring-option, nice bathtub, nice balcony with a good view over the city, good parking lot right opposite! Restaurant with supposedly great food (unfortunately I couldn't try, because it was closed on the Sunday I stayed there - but I will be back) and terrace with an even greater view over the city in the second floor! Dzana, the host, does everything to make you feel comfortable and gives you a lot of information! Thank you, Dzana, see you next time! ;)

No tissues in the room...

The entire facility being an former ancestral home is run by a second generation. The rooms were like being at home, the restaurant, perhaps the best in Sarajevo adding the view you’d get while dining. It’s like being taken back years, living in a museum, an art gallery, yet the homey feeling and treatment by the entire staff and ownership is nothing to be compared to anywhere…

Nothing! Except some little noise that comes out when a car passes by being in an old neighborhood in Sarajevo
