First time visiting Sarajevo, lovely city & great hotel, in great location, very close to old town & tram station on your doorstep. Owners were lovely.

Beds are very hard, no tv’s in the room, bathroom very small. No lift.

The location is superb and most attractive feature. The hospitality of the staff integrated the experience to the unforgettable level.

The hotel may need an elevator for easier access to the third floor.

The room was stunning and the host was so friendly and helpful.

It wasnt an issue but it would have been nice to know before getting there that i needed to pay in cash.

The hotel is in ideal location meters away from the Old town and has free parking which is essential in Sarajevo. The room is spacious and very clean. The hosts couldn't be more helpful and welcoming! A very good breakfast is available for a small extra fee

The beds are a bit hard

CHECK-IN: easy and friendly. They accept Euros cash. STAFF: lovely charming pet-friendly host, who did everything to help and advise about the place and the city of Sarajevo. Please come and meet the two cats that roam around the place, if you haven't had enough of those among the streets. WIFI/VPN: works SIZE: compact, but ok for a couple for few days STYLE: modern, minimalist POWER STAYS ON WHEN YOU LEAVE: yes, physical key CLEAN: yes, very much BATHROOM: little small, with curtain shower, but clean QUIET: considering the location and the busy road, window glasses and air conditioning did their best, but don't expect 0 db environment all the time. LOCATION: one of the best I experienced, right on the corner where the main access/leaving road runs, behind the town hall and few steps from the pedestrian touristic very lively and warm city center. SERVICES AROUND: all you can need in walking distance VALUE FOR THE MONEY: great, I cannot stress enough about the kindness of the host and the perfect location BREAKFAST: not included RESTAURANT IN WALKING DISTANCE: everything in the downtown city center in walking distance.

PARKING: small area within the boundaries of the hotel, marked by a gate, which is - however - not locked at night and let anyone see what's parked in there. Very practical, but leaving some room for security improvement. However it felt very safe. ONLY CASH: I might have missed among the fine print during the booking, but there is no other way to pay, than bank notes.

What a great stay we had at the Saffron, the Hosts and staff were fantastic and made us very welcome, the breakfast was exceptional, it is only 100m from the main square and next to the river, we would definitely stay here again....it was a perfect stay....

This hotel was perfectly located right near the old market, walking distance to museums and across from the trams to help get to the more distant locations you might want to visit. Everything is brand new and looks fantastic, highly recommended.

If you want parking be sure to let the property know in advance as there are limited spots. When I visited they only accepted cash (and I was advised as such when I booked it) but make sure you’ve got enough on you - though almost everything in Bosnia is cash-only so you’ll need plenty on hand anyway.

This was a perfect place to feel safe and comfortable and also nearby all the sights we wanted the see. The host was very helpful and spoke good English.

The restaurant within the hotel offers delicious, high-quality food at reasonable prices. The staff are exceptionally kind and professional, as is the host. All compliments!
