After a month staying in hostels, having even a basic private room — and private bath — is a luxury. The host is very friendly and speaks excellent English. Location is perfect for exploring the town: It’s a 5-10 minute walk to the tourist area, park, restaurants, etc. AC works fine and there’s a small fridge to keep your beer cold. You are also welcome to hang out on the small terrace.

My only complaint is that there wasn’t enough hot water. I wound up with cold showers both times I tried.

The host is excellent. The room was clean. Wi-Fi worked well. We arrived in the evening and could park easily. In our opinion, the accommodation is excellent – everywhere should be like this!

The room is really basic and small, but does the job to stay there for a couple of nights. The price is really good for the value, that it offers. It's close to the historical city center of Trebinje and you can go by foot. It's also easy to park your car near this place. I liked it overall, it was a very good value and Bosnia is such a great country. Hwala!

The communication with the owner is difficult. As I arrived, I had to wait for his wife to come and show me around. It was very difficult to find this place, and the street is so narrow and small and there was no indications to this stay.

No cooking facilities

Its location. It’s tucked away not fare from the city’s center. There’s a lovely market which I went to daily with friendly workers. The room I self was perfect. It had everything and was cozy. Also, it is a short walk from the bus station to the apartments.

Setenčić is a great place to stay in Trebinje if you’re looking for privacy, simplicity, and warm hospitality. The small private room had everything I needed: a private bathroom with a strong hot shower, an extra sink in the room, a small fridge, a wardrobe, and a reading lamp. There’s also air conditioning, but I didn’t need it — leaving the window slightly open was enough. The garden adds a peaceful touch, and the people made my stay really special. The older lady who lives there doesn’t speak English, but her warm smile and gentle presence gave me real “grandma” energy — such a sweet soul, truly one of the kindest people I met in the country. George, the owner, is also very friendly and easy to talk to. A quiet, no-fuss stay that felt genuine and welcoming.

Good overnight accommodation, cheap.

Basic rooms in a very good location, about 10 min walk from the centre of town. George and his family are excellent hosts. For the pice of the room and and the location I would recommend to anyone.
