Access road (approx 1 km in length) has numerous potholes,although it's not in the owners hand.Food seemed moderately expensive.Breakfast menu could be improved.

Distinctive architectural design with beautifully landscaped courtyard.Well-manicured garden and lush green lawns nestled on the hillside with a staircase built uphill for sightseeing. Rooms were spacious and spotless with modern amenities.Well equipped pantry.Amazing staff.Just to keep in mind that it's a bit on the countryside.

My recent stay at the Ark was truly exceptional! I appreciate a hotel that prioritises both comfort and convenience, and the Ark delivered on both fronts. This is an amazing place, a quiet calm retreat. Beautiful rooms and garden. The most helpful staff and owner, amazing food. Reallyb handy to have a driver when needed. All very fairly priced. This really is an oasis, much nicer than a 5 star hotel. Bedrooms large and comfortable. We loved it so much we came here twice in our two weeks in Bangladesh.

The road linking the property to the main road needs tarmac and resurfacing. Signs need to be in place from the main road to direct visitors as Google may not necessarily work.

Everything was absolutely lovely. Clean, modern and spacious. Built to high spec. Stunning gardens surrounding the property. Well maintained. Fantastic hospitality, shout out to Mr Ali Hussein, wonderful chef and Shajib and Sultana.

I couldn’t use my Uber service often. However. Private car service was available!

It was an invitation to someone’s private house. The monetary interests of the host was not that prioritized. It was a home away home. The included breakfast was good indeed. Moreover, the private butler knows how cook and serve at the same time.

Excellent service, exceeded our expectations. Beautiful cooperation from landowner as well from staffs. My family had an amazing stay. Interior equiped with luxury and elegant features. Im coming again for sure. Lots of prayers and wished for THE ARK. its not just a home, its an ART.

I am glad that I chose this place. Majestic house, welcoming host, exceptionally supportive staffs, my 5 year old daughter literally cried when we told her that we had to leave. Anyone visiting sylhet, forget 5 stars or any other facilities, this is where you want to be. We travel a lot within the country and this is definitely the best I have experienced

Only one weakness, but thats not fault of The Ark: After several steps out of the property, you see you are still Bangladesh, having trash all around, sometimes burning as well

Amazing property with beautiful architecture, something quite different to what you see in Sylhet. The landscaping is lovely, a resident chef and host, who are very welcoming and ensure the stay goes well. There a few pets one grounds, such as rabbits in peaceful surroundings. Close to Sylhet airport for a convenient stop off either into the town or out of it.

The host ensured all measures for the comfort of the guest. Location food service and hygiene was impeccable. It's a hidden gem for those wishing a great and exclusive stay in Sylhet. Very near to airport and could arrange pick up with the host.

My stay was exceptional as I got a good deal. I have thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and stunning views of scenic beauty. I really loved the front and back garden of the place that is breath taking! The art of the place added a unique touch. The room was beyond comfortable. The staff were incredibly welcoming. The food was delicious and served in a professional way. It is exceptionally clean and I also would mention about the safety measures which is great as I felt secure during my stay. I would highly recommend this place to others.

Just a short drive from Sylhet airport, I was fascinated seeing the lush green landscape and the unique architectural design of "THE ARK". The interior was overwhelming too. I was truly impressed after viewing the beautiful foyer, two lounge areas and the dining located in the ground floor, all very tastefully and meticulously done. My room in the first floor was very spacious with a large toilet, comfortable bed, perfect air conditioning and a flat screen tv which made my stay most comfortable and enjoyable. The host and his entire team were amazing always ready to cater to all my needs. The home cooked food was delicious. I strongly recommend this place and can boldly say this place is an oasis of luxury in Sylhet.
