Distinctive architectural design with beautifully landscaped courtyard.Well-manicured garden and lush green lawns nestled on the hillside with a staircase built uphill for sightseeing. Rooms were spacious and spotless with modern amenities.Well equipped pantry.Amazing staff.Just to keep in mind that it's a bit on the countryside.

Access road (approx 1 km in length) has numerous potholes,although it's not in the owners hand.Food seemed moderately expensive.Breakfast menu could be improved.

My recent stay at the Ark was truly exceptional! I appreciate a hotel that prioritises both comfort and convenience, and the Ark delivered on both fronts. The rooms were impeccably clean, spacious, and equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a high-speed internet connection and a comfortable workspace. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. Furthermore, the hotel's location was perfect. Overall, my experience at the Ark was a resounding success, and I highly recommend it to any traveler looking for a comfortable and convenient stay

The location is very random. However, very calm hood.

This is an amazing place, a quiet calm retreat. Beautiful rooms and garden. The most helpful staff and owner, amazing food. Reallyb handy to have a driver when needed. All very fairly priced. This really is an oasis, much nicer than a 5 star hotel. Bedrooms large and comfortable. We loved it so much we came here twice in our two weeks in Bangladesh.

Everything was absolutely lovely. Clean, modern and spacious. Built to high spec. Stunning gardens surrounding the property. Well maintained. Fantastic hospitality, shout out to Mr Ali Hussein, wonderful chef and Shajib and Sultana.

The road linking the property to the main road needs tarmac and resurfacing. Signs need to be in place from the main road to direct visitors as Google may not necessarily work.

Comfortable modern house/hotel, quiet at night, firm bed, friendly and helpful staff.

Almost no English spoken by most of the staff…breakfast was extremely simple…a little far out from the town centre

It was an invitation to someone’s private house. The monetary interests of the host was not that prioritized. It was a home away home. The included breakfast was good indeed. Moreover, the private butler knows how cook and serve at the same time.

I couldn’t use my Uber service often. However. Private car service was available!

Excellent service, exceeded our expectations. Beautiful cooperation from landowner as well from staffs. My family had an amazing stay. Interior equiped with luxury and elegant features. Im coming again for sure. Lots of prayers and wished for THE ARK. its not just a home, its an ART.

I am glad that I chose this place. Majestic house, welcoming host, exceptionally supportive staffs, my 5 year old daughter literally cried when we told her that we had to leave. Anyone visiting sylhet, forget 5 stars or any other facilities, this is where you want to be. We travel a lot within the country and this is definitely the best I have experienced

Only one weakness, but thats not fault of The Ark: After several steps out of the property, you see you are still Bangladesh, having trash all around, sometimes burning as well

Cozy and peaceful surroundings. Host is very generous. Well decorated and gives you a luxurious vibe. Food was mouthwatering and homemade. You can discover yourself within the serene nature.
