Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicIf you are looking for a place with a soul this is where you want to stay in Antwerp. It has genius loci and everything is cared for with love, guests included;) I felt instantly welcomed. I am a fan of architecture and I enjoyed every detail there and also the tips we got for our visit to the city. Plus is an amazing breakfast in the bright dining hall. Hope to come back one day. At least for a coffee and chat.

United KingdomThe steep stairs after a day of walking around the city! (we were on the top floor)
Ingrid and Piet were the perfect hosts, and they made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The B&B is in a beautiful house in a quiet residential area, but it's easy to walk to the centre of Antwerp or get one of the frequent trams. We were offered a different room to the one we'd booked as it had its own terrace and was available, which was a nice bonus. The room itself was bright, spacious, comfortable, and designed very nicely. There was a coffee machine, kettle, and a small fridge with complimentary soft drinks, and downstairs, there was an honesty bar with beer, wine, and snacks available. The bed was great and possibly one of the most comfortable we've ever slept in! Breakfast was delicious, with a choice of fresh continental options and eggs and bacon cooked to order if wanted. Ingrid and Piet are obviously very passionate about what they do, and they try to make their business as eco-friendly as possible without being fanatical about it, which is wonderful. They also run an amazing café and shop next door, which we would recommend checking out. As they are locals, they know the city well and are happy to give you tips and suggestions to make the most of your trip, and we really enjoyed chatting with them. We would highly recommend 22b&b, and I hope we will return one day.

United KingdomEverything was great.
Huge room in a bed and breakfast in Antwerp. The location is quiet, but with easy access to the historic centre, where there are many sights, restaurants and shops, and the train station by tram. Breakfast was excellent, and Piet and Ingrid are great hosts, taking time to explain the sights and provide some helpful tips.

GermanyThere were only 2 small things in the room, that I would mention, that are easily fixed. The bathroom door was not really closing / locking and the shower head has probably done its duty and needs a replacement. Everything else was very nice!
This is a beautiful B&B, tastefully decorated with love for little detail. Both, Ingrid and Piet are very caring and helpful with everything you might need. They were lovely at breakfast, which was very nice and delicious, and also gave us many useful tips for activities in Antwerpen. Definitely helped us find things we wanted to see. The accommodation is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood and the house is spacious with a small garden area in the back. They also run a cafe which is also worth the visit. Highly recommended!

SwitzerlandIngrid and Piet were wonderfully nice people and the accommodation was exactly as advertised. The room was really large, clean and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is not huge but thats totally fine. We had had a bamboo display next to the shower which was very unique and looked great! Breakfast was also good, not particularly huge but that was not an issue for us. Piet and Ingrid offered every moring a cappuccino and an egg, always asked how we were & felt. It essentially felt like we were treated like human beings and not like mass ware. We would definitely come back again and stay at their BnB! 100% Recommended. Thank you Ingrid and Piet! 😄

United StatesAs is common with older buildings, there is no elevator. The second level of stairs are steep and curvy so be warned if you have large or heavy bags.
The hosts, Ingrid and Piet are very accommodating to their guests. They really want your stay to be as enjoyable as possible. My king room was quite large and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the wall of tall windows and lots of outlets. The location is a bit away from the city center but there are tram lines close by which can get you to near the old town and into Centraal Station within 15 min. Food stores are conveniently located at the tram stops in case you want to pick up any snacks. Breakfast is served starting at 8:30 but accommodations can be made if you need an earlier mealtime. The buffet selection was excellent.

Swedennothing i didn't like actually! It was a little bit of a walk into the city centre but nothing too bad and I think a benefit of being a little bit outside the city centre was that the area was quiet and relaxing.
This b&b has such a cozy and comforting feel to it! The room was really nice, pretty and spacious. It's decorated super nice which I like! The best part was the owners who made me feel super welcome and cared for. The breakfast was super and the b&b overall was just a really lovely place to stay at! + extra plus was how sweet it was that they took time to give some guidance to the city, places to go etc. + another extra plus was the free soft drinks etc in the room, it was such a nice add.
