How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Location is exceptional. Subway is 10 minutes away. You have a nice park nearby. There are a couple of bistros and small supermarkets within walking distance. The interior garden is awesome. The host was very nice.

The hotel is situated nearby all European institutions. The street is calm. The room was very comfortable and clean. No noise. There is a green garden inside. The manager ensured all utilities for your pleasant stay. The breakfast was delicious and tasty.

Unfortunately, there was no AC and no fan. The room got way too hot and there was no way to cool it down. You can hear the person upstairs walking in their room.
The owner is very nice and polite. He helped me about during the stay. They easily provided accommodations for my gluten free diet. The rooms are big and the bathroom was very clean. Good beds and pillows. A lot of electric sockets around the room.

Accessibility is not the best for someone with special needs. The street is very hilly and has a lot of stairs and steps. If that's not a problem, it's perfect!
The host was super friendly and helpful. The room was spacious. The location is great, close to the park and to the EC buildings.

We could not access the TV channels and wanted to watch the finals of the Eurosong Festival. The breakfast room feels very crowded, too small actually. And too warm too.
Great welcome. Very good location. Free parking in the street during the WE. Our own private roof terrace, what a treat!

Excellent choice, not just for professional purposes. Very friendly staff, with lots of availability for assistance of any kind. The house is tastefully decorated and practical. It is also very reasonably priced.

Breakfast had to be ordered the night before and it wasn't clear to me if this was included in the price or not. I was pretty busy so didn't feel I had time to check and/or make later breakfast arrangements. However, I am sure the hosts would have been flexible but I was pretty flat out with work and visiting friends during my very short stay.

The drainage in the shower was poor, causing water to stand for a long time, which I believe contributed to a musty smell in the room. Overall, a great experience with just a minor issue that could be improved.
The host was wonderful, showing us around and providing great recommendations for places to eat. The hotel itself is stylish with a beautiful inner garden and a well-equipped communal kitchen where you can make coffee or tea and enjoy some treats. The room was excellent, and the shower gel had a lovely fragrance. The location is perfect, close to the park and museum.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at this location! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. In conclusion, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. This place exceeded all our expectations, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!
