I usually do not consider an hotel room without a safe, but I didn’t have a choice this time. A room safe is always appreciated for peace of mind if not as standard.

The facilites in general were brand new, so no complaint at all. The room was more spacious than usual and with the quality expected from this line of hotels. The staff was kind and friendly and the hotel parking comfortable and convenient at more of less market price. The breakfast was standard, but good enough. Public transportation right in front and out of the usual touristic mess of Antwerp Centrum.

Walking in and out of the hotel through people smoking right at the door. As a non smoker and person with asthma I find this very uncomfortable.

We showed up earlier than check in time and were allowed to already check in, this was very convenient! The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Decent air conditioning, nice bathroom with very decent shampoo etc. Breakfast was very nice. Seating in breakfast area was a little cramped but not bad. Location is ok, not very close to the city centre but still good.

Precise details of where hotel parking was.

Hotel was a described. Hotel parking prior to our visit wasn't explained well in terms of location. We used the nearest local car park, which was quite a way south luggage. Hotel p parking was out front. Breakfast was very stocked and nice.

Unsoft, unfluffy towels

It had parking in the basement. 27euro for a night is descent I think. We stayed for 2nights, 2 rooms. It had airconditioning which we can use when we needed. Had coffee and hair dryer and ironing which we didn’t need but happy to find if we wanted to use them. Its very practical. Felt new, very well maintained. If there is something is that the towels are not fluffy and soft. Always love a soft fluffy towel. Kudos for extra pillows. Well we always love our stay at Holiday Inns. Its almost like you can never go wrong when booked.

Ineffective air conditioning in the room. Had it set as low as it would go and the room was still very warm all night long which made sleeping difficult due to the temperature.

Hotel was clean, ideally located and has excellent underground parking available. The price for using the underground car park is on the expensive side for what it actually is, but for the sake of convenience it is worth it. They did allow us to put two motorcycles in each space which saved us from paying multiple times as well which was decent of them.

Good location for port area and easy access to historical city centre. One tram from central station. Really comfortable beds and helpful staff
